Just got news that construction for Cold Storage is kicking off soon right next to McDonald’s Sendayan. The site is already being fenced up, and the “Cold Storage Coming Soon” signboards are in place.
At the same time, it looks like fencing is also being put up for the Econsave project located between Hijayu Aman and the McD roundabout. Quite interesting to see two very different types of hypermarkets being developed so close to each other. Cold Storage clearly targets the T20/atas crowd, while Econsave is more for the general public. Definitely going to serve two very different market segments. |

The first small sized hypermarket is opening up at BSS. TF Value Mart is opening at Metropark beside Pizza Hut/Petron.
