Lost support from state government is only an easy excuse.
The main blueprint and masterplan was developed and showcased to the public/customers as early as 2011. Well before the government change.
The major impact that slowed down sales and interest of potential buyers is the deferment of HSR. Matrix put too much eggs into the HSR impact, but now feeling the impact as the main selling point is no longer there.
The lack of proper planning and focusing too much on poorly informed flippers to buy units here from their zero entry cost tactics have made things worse as those flippers now cannot hold on to their units and selling it below market value. Too many vacant units are portraying a bad image for this project.
The area population target have also missed their mark. Matrix expects the population to reach 120k upon maturity by 2020. However the population is barely 30k as we speak. Check out 2012 brochures for this figure. We are in 2020 now, and way far from maturity.
Not excuse, BSS is indeed TokMat project, thats why tokmat really settle the felda land, and help matrix with land in initial phase, bring tudm, get rich people invest biggest masjid here, plan to bring state gov offices here and many more, all to attract people come here, now this masjid is very famous all over malaysia, that one of the factor that people outside from N9 knows now where is sendayan is. before this no body ever heard sendayan name, and with matrix own effort to market the dTempat and XPark, now become attraction, before this people in N9 only think sendayan is felda place, nobody want to go. And HSR is also grand project by BN gov before, and tokmat plan to allocate the HSR station at labu that very near to sendayan itself, and also Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) big project also all surrounding sendayan itself to help to booth BSS and seremban. But with new gov in place it is like show stopper to me.. New state gov i heard they bring Damansara Reality Bhd to invest in BSS, no more support for matrix concept, but i dont see any good progress so far
