seems like S8/+ has quite a few hardware issues, dont know its because of the unoptimized software or memang hardware problem..
These are the prevalent issues so far (can be seen on reddit and xda of MANY users complaining about it):
1) S8/+ glass (front and back) very easy to pick up scratches compared to previous generations.
2) S8/+ fingerprint sensor also gets scratched easily (not glass)
3) S8/+ red-tint
4) S8/+ camera's OIS gets stuck quite often, have to shake the phone quite roughly in order to "unstuck" it.
5) S8/+ LED dying out of a sudden issue
6) S8/+ random sounds cuts from the speakers
7) S8/+ random reboot.
my opinion...
1. GG5, impact resistance high but low ability to stand on scratch.
2. finger print cover is not made of glass...it is plastic IMO... if had glass, do you think samsung will put there???the finger print holy grail still not yet finish improve/optimize.... it becomes Achilles heel for S8/samsung phone if design like this...
3. Dunno why it happen either they cut cost/sampling checking or others...
4. this one not sure as we not sure which one cam module either sony or samsung isocell(IMO got 2 version) so need to which prone to stuck...either samsung or sony...
5. maybe bug/software
6. this also dunno either hardware or software
7. maybe bug also
mine, some ok, screen not so ok, and today suddenly the phone suddenly lost signal for both...restart ok... maybe hang during line transferring between telecommunication tower?
