Was told Samsung would took a while to update it in their system. So don't bother to check. It will come eventually.

I already got my 2 years warranty cert from Bintang Maju.

After a week's test on the regular S8, my overnight battery drain (11pm - 7am) looks like this: -

Max Power Saving Mode - 2%
Mid Power Saving Mode - 3%
No Power Saving - 6%
*
I get about 3% drain with no power savings. I don't use FB and I also turned off auto updating for both Galaxy App and Play Store.

Guys,

may i know how much balance left for storage once you reformat S8?
Im thinking running dual sim card with dual whatsapp, wechat, facebook in S8 using the secure folder feature. So it's impossible to add new micro sd card.

Then you should leave your phone on wireless charger overnight.

I think you should at least try disabling things that would autorun like auto updating apps on Play Store and Galaxy App.

Then the 15% will deteriorate anyway when nothing is going on.

Yep, I've already done that

true enough, just be glad that at least you're getting a non red-tint phone already.

As long as the physical condition of the phone is good, then dont have to think too much whether the phone is virgin or not.. Better than Samsung not even bothering to offer 1 to 1 exchange and to just ask owners to fix it via software tweaks..
*
Actually I dont really knw whether my unit having red tint issue or not, i check on the spot when I unbox it, it shows me perfect blue(cold) colour where I put it on a flat table and look frm bottom, just after I change the 15987# value back to 0 which shows me -6 by default.

But because my eyes are quite sensitive to light, it does show abit reddish when the brightness is too damn high and make my eyes feel uncomfortable just by looking at it๐Ÿ˜‚ otherwise, no reddish effect for me so far, if it really a red tint unit i also accept one๐Ÿ˜‚
