I get about 3% drain with no power savings. I don't use FB and I also turned off auto updating for both Galaxy App and Play Store.

I'm having at least 15% battery drain overnight, wth la Samsung. Will try to factory reset when a new update is released

I don't even have that installed as I don't use Facebook

Battery life on the S8+ is not really that great. Managed to get only like 4-5 hours SOT yesterday.

Im getting 4-5hours with gaming... yours is not right 

I just got my unit yesterday. Probably the software needs some time to settle in?
Right now I'm left with 60% with 1 hour and 51min SOT. Off charger since this morning 7.20am.

seems like s8 price drop really quite fast even for new sealed unit.... i thought usually at least sustain the RRP for 6 months?

I would say Nil. Many sold at cost or lost a bit. 

do u have AOD on? what are ur settings?

Maybe j used to aod.  I prefer aod too.wake up at night look at time or notification without unlocking or touching my phone.

hi guys, am looking for a new phone, since my M8 is dying soon, any major/minor isssues i should know if i plan to get the S8+? also, what is the current market price for it? i saw at lazada currently selling at 3287, is this the cheapest i could get? i'm used to buying phone from phone shop since donkey years, is it still cheaper say to buy from a phone shop at pyramid's it center?also how is the firmware holding up? stable? if low to mid usage, one full charge could last u guys for how long? need to charge twice a day to get through the day? thanks for answering my questions in advance, sorry if this seem repetitive

mind sharing any better phoens i could go to if i were looking for 2800++? also buying from Qoo10, i assume is a on9 site, any issue with packagin? warranty? i'm afraid if i buy it, and there is a problem, it will be difficult to claim warranty, do i go back to Qoo10 or str8 to samsung SC?

For me less than 1 month already sold my gadget.

So no worries on the warranty period as long Samsung provides 12 months warranty that is enough.

My point is that the standby is really poor. I'm can leave my phone for a while not touching it and it drains quite quickly, hence less battery to get better SOT. I was expecting better standby time given Samsung even have their own battery optimisation and nougat got doze feature but still the standby time is terrible.
I recalibrated my battery yesterday by draining it to 0 and recharge back to full. Will see how it goes.
