scape the backgroud higher, back left n back right, middle maintain, did u plant the plants stem by stem?

u r planting stem plants, so get ur CO2 on ASAP.

er i see alot bubble at ur filter there. did u fil the water till the filter output? fill it full till the output, don't let it flow in the tank n make air bubble, that will 'kick' ur co2 away.

at the left back corner. what is the short plants? i canot see it clear, is it BJ? or hair grass? if BJ move it infront of ur stem plants to cover they legs, cos they gonna be botak later on. if hairgrass. move in to front ground plants.

is it because of the soil or the wood? if its just the wood then all i need to do is boil and soak for a couple of days to leech the tannins out right?
i'm pretty sure its the wood coz i did 2 water change and the water was very clear for like 30-60 mins.
any suggestion?

btw i'm using ADA amazon soil.

edit: there is suppose to be another wood on the left but its still floating so i'm in the midst of soaking it.

Added on July 6, 2008, 12:46 amalas...after hours of diagnose...it's the soil causing the problem...
i removed all my wood and the water still gets yellow after 30 mins.
what can i do?

Sanzo,

geediver is right about the amazon soil. New one doesn't has this problem anymore. The only thing you can do now is do frequent water change. Some said it takes days to get clear water.

Christmas moss need a low temperature compare to the java moss, so makes sure your temperature at least got around 26'c.
It could be due to other factor also.

How long is the moss been tied up there with this condition?

wood for sure will give u brownies water, if really is GREEN. it can be green water problem. but anyway the solution for both problem is same, water change more. and don't wash or change ur filter EVERYDAY! all the benefit bac will gone, ur tank will not be able to stable.
