if 1 X 1 X 1, at least 9W X 2 = 18W

filter outflow, 60 or 120liter/hour

Same with mine, too busy cari $$$ to have time to look after. Anyway I just came back from an amazing dive trip. But, my plants suffered la when I was gone, now all the Glossostigma having 'shoot for the sky' syndrome. Aghhh.. time to trim this weekend. Also gonna do a planted tank set-up for a friend this afternoon smile.gif I'll try to post photos if the tank owner takes pictures. All I know is the tank is a 1 foot cube. I'm gonna get the following for the set-up:

External canister filter, DIY co2
Gex soil for shrimps, granules size just nice.
Holland sand or pea gravel.
Ferrite root tablets for root growth.
Hardscape from my tank.
Cabomba - background stem plants and for its fast growth in any condition.
Marsilea for fore & middle ground.

My friend's eventual fauna will be guppies, harvested from his mini outdoor pond.

for 1 ft tank, should be more than enough the budget RM100...
1 pack of 9L ADA Amazonia cost you RM88 (still have promotion, that's y i put RM88)
try go ask the shop, u do not need the whole pack...
5~6L will be enough.
If u wanna go for better substrate and put ADA 5 elements, this will cost u more...
from my opinion, just the soil is enough..
