Confusing photoperiod.. even though you use the light break method, having that long of a break won't really benefit your tank overall..(I think)

Just sharing..
My photoperiod is
11am~7pm

Drew
*
my 9am-11am photo period is jz testing... coz in the morning can see stem plants grow towards the window (light source aka sun)... hence, my plants grow zigzag style....

now i'm sticking back to 6pm-2am photoperiod... smile.gif

hi just want  to know can the shrimp or mini crayfish flourish in the nano tank?
*
shrimps more recommended arr... crayfish abit too big... besides, crayfish might uproot ur plants and cause havoc inside the tank...

i had a crayfish inside my friend's tank... he went berserk trying to rescaping the wood and rocks in the tank... digging through the substrate (small coral pebbles) trying to find a place to hide under the rocks and woods... sweat.gif sweat.gif

That is by far, the smallest HOB I've seen running on such a HUGE tank(compared to the HOB size..)

What lighting are you using? Looks concentrated..

Also, how you want me to comment on it? Scape wise or Healthy wise or otherwise? LOL

Drew
*
yeah its pretty small... water not being circulated properly... gonna buy one bigger HOB filter for it... or another internal filter to provide good circulation around the tank...

i'm using normal table lamp only... looks concentrated, but in fact not enough wpg....

scape wise... ok i guess... heathy wise, i dont think so... lolz...

temperature wise maintain 30oC... still havent get my pc fan spinning although connected to a new ac-cd adaptor... unsure.gif

haha... when was the competition held??.. wish to see more beautiful tank setup and talk to pros like u guys...

jz now i wanted to buy riccia... rm10 for 1 small patch no bigger den half of rm1 note.... for that patch, even hc or glosso cost rm5 only at LFS....

QUOTE(rySse @ Mar 24 2009, 04:29 PM)
im not sure why.. is it because of some of the big fishes inside? eg the black and yellow fish... i changed water eveyr week.. 30%
*
did the black n yellow fish attack/nip ur shrimps??... if yes, it might be the cause... if no, most probably ur water parameter got problem...
