QUOTE(Pucca @ Jan 10 2009, 10:16 PM) if u want it looks white white. 10K light is advise, a lowtech planted tank is better. cos in crs tank, its not advise to dose alot fert. normally we still put 1W per Liter. u can lower it abit but not to much cos ur plantes still need the light.QUOTE(frankzane @ Jan 11 2009, 12:53 AM) change or wash anything? add anything? |

QUOTE(aieti81 @ Jan 12 2009, 01:22 PM) what do u mean by "lowtech planted tank"? i'm quite newbie bout the terms.. low-tech as fern, java moss, nana, fissident n etc..those do not require high light. fert n Co2.anyway, last time i put 2 mini puffer into my tank to get rid snails and they did very good jobs since i can't see any single snails anymore.. those stem plants need strong light, fert n co2, not advise for crs tank mini puffer is commend like that. very difficult to to change them.. end up bye bye |

They are doing the job very well but as IME, dun buy Zebra Snails as i regret to have them in my tank currently. they will lay eggs. their eggs cant hatched in freshwater but the eggs looks ugly and it'll be all over the tank on driftwoods and stones. Zebra Thorn Snails is the best choice IMO for GSA. its call bee thorn snails QUOTE(maxtee @ Feb 1 2009, 12:47 PM) fiew!!! finally read all the post here 7 yrs waw must be sifu grade... share share more with us ya.. im into planted tank too started like 7 yr ago starts from 2 then 3 feet where its stil runing .... but tat time info and equitment are limited and exp so stop like 3yr later sell the tank to my uncle.... now got poisen enough to started planted thank again hahaha.... latest view of my 2ft, still hvn't decide what for the frontground.. ignore the right side ![]() |
