50/50 or
30/70????

good question........well technically, it is the buyer's money (or cashback, whatever they call it)....so i suppose it should be the buyer who gets to enjoy the major portion of it right? perhaps 70-30 or 60-40 to the buyer...

Eh....technically buyer shouldnt get anything bcos it was technically supposed to be for the introducer, and not introducee (buyer).

And the cheque will be given to the introducer....so really its up to the introducer to pay introducee, if any.

Therefore would like to know what is fhe usual outcome out from tis.

for friends, 50/50 is what i did..

for stranger, it's up to how much the introducer wants to give to buyer and can be any amount up to 50% max.
anyway, buyer can always approach different people, should be easy to find someone willing to share 50/50 (for example: me hehe..)

but also anyone can promised you big portion like 30-70, 20-80 but at the end may not pay u single cent.
coz my experience is that, the introducer fee takes months for ecoworld to pay you.
by the time introducer get the money, it's convenient to forget about any arrangement.

no hard and fast rule lo then....

if want some form of formality, then draw up a simple letter to reflect the % of sharing.

if based on mere gentlemen's arrangement then just pure simple trust...

Usually 50-50 . But nowadays alot smelly people nowadays who promise and under give . Cases happen to my friends.

In order for win win will suggest introducer prepare the 50% amount in banker cheque the moment signed SnP .

Since introducer will earn that few thousands easily and the buyer dont get short changed

Just some sharing on this introducer fee. I had the opportunity to receive a lot of offers and some even draw up agreements to assure me I get my share.

Few things first, ecoworld will only pay the introducer fee upon bank drawdown and not after pay deposit so if you deposit 30%, the introducer will get the money only much much later after about 30-40% work is done when they draw down from the bank. (not sure if pay 100% but should be give intro fee immediately then smile.gif).

Secondly I was at ecoworld few weeks back and they told me they actually offer 10% discount for some of the newer units (cant remember if cora was included). If the discounts given were 10% they will not do the introducer fee promotion. Older units however may only get 1-2% discount hence they do have the introducer package (they get another 2% after all).

Back to the sharing of introducer fee costs, ultimately its up to trust or you can go with those that prepare former legal agreements. You can nego with buyer more than 50/50 if you want to though as most forumers say here be careful if buyer offers you more and no supporting docs. Your risk is only opportunity cost (unless you really buy because you can get introducer fee money partially as well).

Additionally, this amount is taxable especially to the introducer since ecoworld will formally bank into his / her acct. Likewise if they bank into your account you maybe liable (tens of thousands money go into bank acct can be suspicious) hence you may want to deal in cash just to be safe. I have not experienced this so you may want to take what i say with a pinch of salt. but i believe the risk is clear and after all introducer fee can be constitute as income ala real estate agent commission.

You need to know how much ew budget for advertisement n marketing cost ...

Its a lot cheaper to let other buyers to sell yr property (so to speak but in reality its abused) than ew sells itself
