I have a tough choice, idk whether i should sub digi 150 to my main line or 2nd line.
1. Prepaid RM30 monthly for calls/sms
2. Prepaid Digi home broadband RM25 10gb

1. Using phone as modem would be unstable for online gaming and when in dongle, nobody can call me.
2. Putting it into broadband dongle/device would make the unlimited calls and sms go to waste.. and still need to pay to call and sms.

if u think u dont need hypp tv and need more data mobility, then go for infinite. imo unifi is quite good for its unlimited quota and high download speed.

I dont know much bout unifi as my neighborhood dont have any unifi coverage.

fyi i am also from celcom, first gold 80 specifically and mnp to digi.

Celcom coverage is so much better. 4G+ most of the place with speed exceeding 50Mbps most of the time.

Fair enough - thanks

I already have Unifi50 at home but should i MNP my Celcom30(carry forward of 3gb data) to DiGi Infinite 150?I already have DiGi 78 and the coverage is not bad compare to 3 years ago - can someone enlighthen me - TIA

I've terminated my 38 celcom plan and put it under i150 plan which is cheap or rm28. Terminate my maxis home fibre 10mbps that cost 140+. So I'm losing rm10 from previous. But u gain mobility as this Sim I can watch movies on the go without worrying of data quota

For gaming They said nope because u can't predict the stability of wireless.

For streaming it should not have any issue

Don't go for agent.

this depends, there might also be a start up cost of getting modem as well if you're really into the service. What I can recommend is, if your phone supports LTE-A, use your phone to test connection first. My gf's place Ping is constantly around 20-70 like some others said, and it would be good enough for online games also. Second thing is to check how many towers is near your place. During my setup I notice there's one tower providing exceptionally good speed ( i'm using old LTE modem and getting ~20mbps ), while others has high ping ( 100+ ms ping ) and lower speed ( like 5-8mbps download only ). If you can get a spot where you can lock on to good tower without a lot of tower hopping, then you can go get digi unlimited plus a good modem/router with LTE-A support, your speed should be able to go even higher with LTE-A.

If you dont have a LTE-A phone, invite a rich friend over to test out the signal biggrin.gif

Also, this is a digi online only exclusive, you dont need any agent for it, just go online, sign up, and the sim will be delivered to your doorstep

RM28 or RM38 under Infinite 150 is not eligible to share the internet data
RM28 only got 3GB while RM38 got unlimited call
the best RM28 package is still u mobile with 3GB + 3GB Video Onz + Unlimited App Onz + Unlimited Waze + 300 SMS + 50 minutes

Correct. But with u mobile u need to open another account at other telco and u risk of having bad coverage at your area.

yup but u also open a new account under new infinite 150 sub line RM28 with just 3GB quota without any free sms or call, anyway u mobile has been with me for more than 5 years and i'm satisfied with their coverage and they have improve since using Maxis tower and they also expand their own tower when i travel 2-3 times in Miri and Paka, last time still using Maxis 3G but now shows U Mobile H+

It has free call and sms
60 minute free call and 50 free sms
its more than enough.
and that i150 (principle) has unlimited call and unlimited quota too. that 28 plan was maintained for family contact

u sure u know how to compare? im just wondering why do you suddenly compare it with u mobile? i dont want to talk bad about other plan or telco here as it seems unsuitable in this forum.

still waiting for random rich k-friend to come beraya and test the line for me..

"hi..anyone in jb could borrow me the modem and the equipment to test the line in my house for 1day?.dont worry, it will be better if you can come beRAYA aswell..just want to test the line with proper modem.

i already test with ip6 and the speed is not that good for RM150 hence i cannot afford to gamble on RM200-300 modem that cannot guaranteed any improvement..haha..

this is serious offer..come beraya at my house and test the line sambil makan kuih raya icon_idea.gif and if the test success i will plan further buying the modem myself.

again this is not a SCAM..pls contact me if anyone can help.."

i usb tether my s6 to my laptop for gaming
dota 2 no lag
guild wars 2 ping is acceptable < 200ms
FFXIV no lag ping is <130 ms mostly
PoE no lag ping is < 100ms mostly

but remember it is cellular network. occasionally it will have massive spike. happened to me 3 times over few months i think.
and also when raining it might go nuts for 4g.
sometimes when gaming switch to 3g only would provide much better ping, this i tested with celcom u mobile and digi also.
