anyone having problem with youtube connection? I am using my phone to view, and typically I can get around 12-14mbps stable download speed. It feels like the connection to website is the problem, but not the bandwidth itself, as in, website takes some time to connection, but the loading itself seemed relatively fast.

Also, see so many familiar names from the old Maxis 68 thread biggrin.gif

Still using my trusty Huawei E398, does that modem support LTE-A? iirc it's a Cat 3 LTE modem, but not sure about LTE-A

same as my location. suspect they are turning 2600 into 900?

but isn't the plan to have 3 frequency so that the loads are equally shared instead of just replacing them?ß

Guys, this plan is stable enough for gaming connection like dota/cs:go?
Btw, i also need help looking for agent to subscribe brows.gif

this depends, there might also be a start up cost of getting modem as well if you're really into the service. What I can recommend is, if your phone supports LTE-A, use your phone to test connection first. My gf's place Ping is constantly around 20-70 like some others said, and it would be good enough for online games also. Second thing is to check how many towers is near your place. During my setup I notice there's one tower providing exceptionally good speed ( i'm using old LTE modem and getting ~20mbps ), while others has high ping ( 100+ ms ping ) and lower speed ( like 5-8mbps download only ). If you can get a spot where you can lock on to good tower without a lot of tower hopping, then you can go get digi unlimited plus a good modem/router with LTE-A support, your speed should be able to go even higher with LTE-A.

If you dont have a LTE-A phone, invite a rich friend over to test out the signal biggrin.gif

Also, this is a digi online only exclusive, you dont need any agent for it, just go online, sign up, and the sim will be delivered to your doorstep

high5

I also still using E398, but using MR3020. With the latest ROOter firmware it's very good, and the router serves me well despite its size. Did u guys use external antenna for E398? I'm considering if it is worth to invest an external antenna. Also how does external antenna work, if in the future i change to a LTE-A modem, can I still use the external antenna?

I'm using e398 too, and partner with 3420 v2 with latest ROOTer firmware. Dl speed can only reach 400K/s without antenna but can get 1.3M/s with antenna although the line is congested. Have to play around with the antenna which take me a lot of time to get the right spot.  sweat.gif

hmm, I think in this case might be worth it to invest RM70 or so to get a better quality overall, I'm getting on average 10mbps only, not quite satisfied with the speed because I know some corner in the house there's one spot that can get me 20mbps, but that tower is super hard to lock onto, the rest of the tower around my area are pretty congested it seems
