Can you show some statistics from your router that CA (B3 + B7) is working and show good speed?
I am disputing with Andrew E Store that they claimed e5186s-61a is the same as e5186s-22a.
Thanks.

Put your SIM card into other LTE A capable devices and try again.

Android phones have a reliable way of detecting LTE A connection if you have one.

I believe even some s22a in the market have non working CA due to a firmware bug.

Frankly speaking, no idea. Either find a dongle that can be turned to bridge mode (ha) or use something like SXT LTE.

You manage to get IPV6 working on Digi?

Change both APN protocols' options to IPv4/IPv6.
Probably needs to be at least Android 5?
*
Thanks! Got it to work on my Galaxy S7 Edge running Android Nougat.

Will try and figure this out when my E5186 is with me.

blacktubi no smartphone lists yet?

I don't plan to maintain a list of smartphones as we need to try one by one to make sure its compatibility.

For example, the Redmi Note 3 have a broken LTE CA although it is supported on the spec sheet.

What MiFi device you having now?

What is your signal strength? Try using different band if your modem support it.

Hi everybody, just to share response from DiGi CS regarding IPv6:

My device is iPhone SE, strange that some user able to get IPv6 hmm.gif

Unlike Android, there's no easy way to change the carrier profile on iOS devices.

I guess IPV6 on Digi is still unofficial or under trial but Android users are able to use it by changing some settings.

QUOTE(ckyow1 @ May 31 2017, 08:55 PM)
I just received the sim card today... just to check is there anyone based at sunway area?

I actually ported out from Maxis one plan 188 to this digi infinite 150 plan, cause the 25GB All time + 25GB weekend offered my Maxis not enough for me...

But after tested for one whole day, the average indoor speed I managed to get is only around 3-5Mbps for download and 0.2-0.7mbps for upload... I am using huawei b310 modem recommended by most of you guys by the way... even want to just load facebook or youtube also keep lagging... previous speed test under Maxis inside my room was average 20mbps for download/upload, no issue for browsing...

I just did some research about Digi indoor coverage, found out some people said the Digi coverage is not that strong due to bandwidth/frequency... the average speed is about 10mbps for downlaod/upload when I using it outdoor..

Any sifu here can give some tips to improve the connectivity/speed ? Your advise will be much appreciated

Thank you
*
I can confirm Digi is ridiculously slow at Sunway area. Try complain to them and hope they can do something when more users complain about this.

it is the common issue for Digi slow browsing at Sunway area? I didn't know about this until I tested today.... sad.gif

Anyway to improve the indoor connectivity?

I know the network could be congested becuase it is unlimited.. not hoping for 50-100mbps kind of speed... at least 10mbps for download/upload via indoor I am happy for it already...
*
There's nothing we can do until they fix the issue there. I never reach 10Mbit at Sunway.

Any phone should be fine.

I am on a 310 firmware as well but the status page is bugged on my browser. Can you show your system information page here?

My current firmware have fully working IPV6 and it is able to display the signal information, LTE band and CA status.

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Jun 3 2017, 02:35 PM)
That's normal right when receiving/making calls? Or it can stay on 4g

This device should support VoLTE but it is not configured with Digi profile.

China warranty only, but usually huawei modems rarely break down, unless power surge by lightning which pretty voids the warranty anywhere
I'm using it my for my cctv using hikvision cameras, since I don't use the ezviz cloud I just use portforwarding on the router with vpn.
Technically with ipv6, you can connect to your cameras without portfowarding, still figuring out how to properly setup ipv6.
So once setup digi apn profile, can make calls/receive on VoLTe without it dropping to 3g? Even if the person calling don't have VoLTE enabled?
*
It is not APN, it is VoLTE profile while I couldn't get it to work as well.

My findings on the E5186 firmware

Updating the firmware on the E5186 is a very complicated process. rclxub.gif
The WebUI and the firmware is 2 different component. If you just want a new WebUI, it is a very easy upgrade. A complete upgrade of the firmware is quite complicated and it involves a bit of luck as well. sweat.gif

Attached Image

My device comes with 21.306.01.00.00 originally and the 16.100.02.00.03 WebUI.
Updating to the new UI display more information such as signal stats, band and CA status. You do not need a third party tool to check signal on the new UI.

As for what is the difference in the new firmware? Stability and performance improvements. smile.gif

Edit: I will produce a guide soon when I am free. It is a very complicated process.

You can refer on this article to upgrade to the latest WebUI. Most of them is accurate but you can skip the firewall part. I will prepare a more detailed guide when I am free.
https://blog.hqcodeshop.fi/archives/289-Hua...grade-Tool.html

I used a firmware from a Latvian carrier as their interface is the most detailed, latest as well. It will change the logo to the lmt logo bust rest assured, just visual changes, nothing is affected.

How you DDNS when Digi provide private IP?

Anyway, the feature is there. smile.gif

Those who plan to subscribe to this plan as a replacement of your ADSL, you may want to think twice. It may not be as good as you think.

The performance of Digi so-called LTE-A 4G+ is atrocious and inconsistent. Both Maxis and Celcom are consistently 50Mbps+ at Subang. Purchase a prepaid SIM pack or borrow your friend's phone to test before you commit.

My current speed at more than 40M with Android box streaming.

I tried every trick in the book and it is the same. Their network is terrible at Subang/Sunway area recently.

I am not going to use this SIM here anyway, I am just really surprised by the underwhelming performance even at a prominent location in Klang Valley.
