With Rakuten Trade, your CDS account is held under Kenanga Investment Bank. This means that the name on your account will be KENANGA NOMINEES

Just to raise public awareness, some brokerage firms actually generate interest by sitting on your dividends for days, if not a week by placing them out into money market placements/funds. It may not seem like much for an individual investor, but it starts to become a meaningful sum for the brokerage firm when they do it on a consistent basis on their entire customer base. Please vote wisely with your precious money when it comes to selecting brokers.

Hi guys , newbie here. I want to open up a CDS account. My sifu suggested m+ for low brokage fee. However , at this moment , i found out their CS and service quality is bad. Lots of review in social med advise they register and went to the branch but no response even after 2 months. So, i m planning to go for other alternative. Skimmed to other thread and some of them mention rakuten is changing some of their fees policy. My question , is Rakuten still relevant at this time ? Or i should wait patiently for M+ , or perhaps just go with cimb i-trade as my primary salary account is with cimb ? Help me please sifu

Ya man. I tried to open an M+ account when I got a little fed up with the rakulag experience a few weeks ago, but until now M+ still haven't contacted me to proceed with the next step lmao
