Hi all, currently I installed a full width curtain (wall to wall). Where should I install the tieback holder (the hook)?
Usually they are mounted at the side wall or curtain wall for full width curtain? And what is the spacing from the curtain wall if I mount at the side wall? Is the same spacing as the rail above? Hope you guys can understand my questions haha |

(depending on the width of your curtain) *Best to be in parallel with rail above so as to not 'pulling' the curtain away from the curtain rail. ![]() |

Yes you're right, blinds are more cost effectvie and easy to maintain for the long run in general |

Whole house blinds for a double storey house cost about Rm2k in 2019. For curtain, might need another set as backup in case the original curtain does not dry after washing on the same day. But note that blinds does not absorb sound as good as curtain |

Yes you're right. Curtain works well in sound insulation compared to blinds. The curtain fullness will also affect the sound insulation effect for living room/ bedroom..
