Anybody knows what is the acceptable rate for packet loss for UNIFI?
I tried to ping to google dns around 1000 packets and i have around 25 packet loss .
Each time a request time out , I will lag in online FPS game around 4 secs.....
*
i think packet loss should be almost zero rite?

haha.. yeah .. should be.. but its not.
Try sending ping to 8.8.8.8 for 1000 packets.

I think you might get some packet loss as well.. if you get like 0.5% packet loss is still acceptable i guess

I tried using WIFI and LAN cable and both gives the same result.

i dun think so.

if ur network is idle, plus not doing any network intensive stuff. the ping should be quite stable.

Is there any wireless hypptv box
*
FOR STreamyx yes, streamyx hypptv box is wireless. So you can watch hypptv anywhere in the house as Long as it is connected wirelessly to everyone. Since the hypptv is using the same bandwidth of streamyx so there is no seperate VLANs for them.

Hypptv for unifi is using a dedicated 8Mbps link for IPTV and they are on separate VLANs so it does not work unless the wireless router supports VLAN tagging.
