i using unblocktech for 2yr. Still streaming tvb movie, fox, hbo lol. No issue. Sometimes or once a while some channel not available. Buy from lelong - unimaxpro.
There is few version of unblocktech tv box. One is international set, another set is purely for china/hong kong only. If buy from taobao or shenzhen mostly do not work.

Which are the recommended English movie or TV apps? The box come with ShowBox. OK... not bad.

Friend recommended Terrarium TV and that is nice plenty of TV series.

However Ubox interface or navigation very crappy with the remote. I wonder if can install a BT mouse.

if you don't mind to paid a little $$ usd10 for sub 1 month fee , a good android box, using kodi can watch UK live tv inside got sky movie all in 1080p, HBO euro version series, us live tv also got many best tv channel can watch movie.than you can said good bye to astro..

I got this back in last year, initially service was ok and acceptable. After a while. i think they switched server. It becomes sometimes okay, sometimes not ok. Then gradually it becomes often times not ok.

Don't think it is a internet issue, more like server capacity issue. Often off-peak hours everything is working flawlessly. During peak hours, mostly if not all the popular channel will be buffering non stop.

I installed Kodi on this box, and it works all the time. No buffering at all, irregardless of hours.

Yes, all the channel is free. No need to subscribe. They do tend to update the apps used for viewing the channels, i think this is mostly due to them moving server. There is also subscription and no subscription options (i was told so). I believe the subscription is not too exorbitant, something along the lines of RM40/month (not very sure, but i was told it is about there when i bought the box).

All in all, it is a hit and miss experience for me. As i bought this hoping to cut my Astro and get alternative, but what i get was sometimes it is working, sometimes it is not. At the end of the day, i sold it and subscribed back to Astro (sharing with another two friends).

I got Ubox gen 3 back in April. IPTV is ok since I mostly watch discovery. there is VIP section where you need to key in password. but until today only watch my little pony... coz my kids always want to watch that.

need password one because that all channel is "XXX" channel, your kid want to watch ??

After using the UBlock for last few weeks, I'm happy with it. I'm not a fan for TVB or CCTV china programs. Me just on Hollywood movie and English TV series, Japanese anime, foreign euro channel and some Korean/Japanese channel...

Its awesome. No delay or lag. I did experience only 1 app update since booted.

Hi, I wonder is there any Gen 4 owner here and facing same issue as mine. I have 2 units of Gen 4 and both cannot shutdown permanently like Gen 3.

Long press the power button on remote, the Gen 4 switch off, within an hour it will automatically wake up/turn on. For Gen 3 it is permanently switch off.

Can some Gen 4 owner help to confirm this?
