Try reset the whole thing. Currently quite a lot of updates from them.

Hi all, may I check what is the minimum broadband speed is needed for unblock tech tv box? I have 30mbps UniFi but I notice the tv stream will start to buffer whenever there is other people in the house playing online games, especially during the 7-10pm…

The tv box is connected to LAN wired though.

i am also using ubox with a 2 gb bandwidth. Sometime and some channel do lag. it is also true that in the night the lag increases and also weekend.
In a share network and there are many user esp playing game which require lots of download and upload data will slow the speed down thus made the viewing unpleasant.
Further, another reason is the ubox is serving many users concurrently thus limiting the data speed. to test out what u could do is installed a simple iptv and get a lightweight and fast
playlist to try it out if the ubox is slow or your system cannot handle.

I thought it was due to many people at home take up the broadband bandwidth but after that I suspect it might be due to unblock’s bandwidth not enough during peak hour.

certainly u are right, when there are too many user then the network will go down, there are other reason too. one of which is your own share network when there are too many user
using the internet with heavy demand for data then it will affect the streaming too.

Anyone has any IPTV to be recommended using in Singapore? I am now working in Singapore and would like to subscribe to something useable and has a lot of channels in it. Please recommend!

Hi, I have an old version of Unblock tech but it has been getting buggy with occasional blackout when I switched on the box. Does anyone know if I could transfer the Unblock apps to a new android box? Is it possible?

i have been using ubox 4 for some 7 years. This box need occasional servicing otherwise you will encounter overloaded situation.
Go to the local drive delete off everything including the android folder.
After that you reset your box. You can then continue to use the box afresh until the next servicing say about a month time

Unblock livetv and VOD need unblock hardware before it can function. However, i have come across the app being use on other device( not sure how it is done)

Can pm how to clean your box if needed.

Ubox user i have found something useful and like to share with all.
When we power up ubox it usually were load the logo and take some 20 to 30 secs before the launcher start showing those app that you have installed and that will take another 20 to 30 secs.
I found a way to load the box in 2 to 3 secs and load the page that u last exit. It is like Windows startup from hybernation.

Another interesting finding is the default built launcher which take sometime to show up after booting. What i did was change the default launcher to ATV launcher can be downloaded from google playstore. It is a simple launcher and as very fast and help in saving ram space.
