Bro, do come back if you have any info on the seller. Really want to get from them. S8 at rm2.7k and s8+ at rm3.2k, that are the cheapest price thus far although without any freebies
Previously one member shared a shoppu deal S8+ also cheaper by RM400.
Please do let us know once your sister is able to check it out.
The address is incomplete...
1-58... like suggesting its inside one of the shopping mall but I cant seem to find it on megamal pinang directory.
Oh, you need to use the app to apply the voucher and the voucher expired in one day. So unless you decided to buy today, you might as well dont claim it first.
S8 or upcoming iPhone... time for serious consideration.
One of the shop in Miri area selling s8 for 3099 and s8+ 3499. Thats the lowest price i can find bout these two phone. Other shop selling at rrp. 2.7k seems fishy. Lol
They are selling 3120 and the 350 voucher was by qoo10 themselves.
Ok... Finally found out some info about them. The seller is indeed inside Megamall Penang, named RIX MOBILE. Phone number also matching. http://rixmobile.weebly.com/
Anyone here gonna buy from qoo10? After discounted price around 2.7,so tempting. If local set really want to hit the checkout button. But since already mentioned can COD on shop should be not an issue. Can check everything on spot. Unfortunately shop located in Butterworth.
Depends on what you want to check. They are just a reseller, doubt they will allow exchange for things like red tint. Even written on the ads, anything refer to Samsung SC.
Hi all s8 users, I'm experiencing battery drain problem while charging either on wireless charger or cable. I'm encountered the first charging problem on third day after using it. At first, it charge a bit slow compared to another s8 owned by my gf that we used to charged at the same time and usage just -4%. Then, my phone stuck at 83% and going down to 82% and up 83% repeatedly. After restarted my phone, it going well til 100%. Today even worse, I left my phone charging overnight and after I got up I've found that my phone battery only at 90% and keeps draining no matter on wireless charging or original cable. Does anyone encountered the same problem? Need help here is there any solution? Thank you.
Why not go into battery usage and show which app is draining the battery?
It makes no difference in nougat anymore since app developers by now have defined in app manifest whether they want to use software or gpu to render. If this was proven better than not switched on, then all manufacturer and rom builders have shipped OS with this switched to On.
Those who used this switch from KitKat to marshmallow will able to tell that most feedback given are placebo or due to bad app design which needs phone to force it to rely on GPU.
Well, there is no guarantee that app developers would turn it on by default. You need to understand unlike iPhone, you have a wide variety of SoC being used for Android phones. Developers might opt to not turn it on by default for compatibility reason as not all SoC have a good GPU to offload the task.
kinda makes me think twice about having the plus now. any plus users regret getting it and wish to get the smaller brother instead?
The plus definitely is better overall except for ergonomics but I do wonder about reaching for notification panel one handed for S8. I'm using S6e which is about 2mm narrower and while S8 is 2mm shorter, but since the screen runs up to the edge, it's slightly further than the S6e. I think it's possible but still quite hard to reach imo.
If I'm buying for myself, I would get the smaller one since it's less annoying in pocket and easier to full grip since I will be using it naked indefinitely. Battery life made very little difference for me given my usage.

that price I rather use it and buy xiaomi powerbank pro cheaper and bigger capacity with fast charge also
I have nothing against Samsung pb but since fast charge only works when the battery dip below certain percentage, a Xiaomi pb would be a better for those who like to top up every now and then.
which xiaomi powerbank support fast charge n slim also? type c usb maybe?
LoL... I get where this is going. Anyway usb-c powerbank charge faster IINM but I still prefer micro usb. As for fast charging, well, Samsung fast charging only works when battery reach certain percentage. If you're going to top up every now and then, it really didn't matter fast charging or not if it didn't trigger fast charging.
For me, the price is a turnoff, along with the size given the capacity. If you are willing to buy, I'm really willing to sell. Samsung selling for 250? I'm willing to part with it for 150.
