I'm sharing my experience here trying to claim my S8 that is having inconsistent red-tint over the screen.
I paid a visit to Samsung service center today and they requested me to leave my device for 2 weeks in order for them to make a report to Samsung and diagnose it. I was told that this is standard procedure. They also mentioned that any request for replacement or refund need to be done within 2 weeks from the date of purchase. After that, it will then proceed as normal repair.
In the end I refused to surrender my phone to them and make a complaint to Samsung Malaysia careline. I'm trying to request for a direct 1-1 replacement but got rejected. Anyone has a success story to share?
Is it really important to have perfectly white screen because chances are really rare for this version of amoled? Why not just sell your po unit when you knew you can't accept this?I paid a visit to Samsung service center today and they requested me to leave my device for 2 weeks in order for them to make a report to Samsung and diagnose it.
