QUOTE(eetony @ May 14 2017, 01:12 AM) Exactly, c the photo/video in S8 is not bigger altho it has biggest screen, you do gain the extra bottom with this format. Again I'm not complaining just pointing out I prefer S8+ screen coming from 6p. [attachmentid=8813563] [attachmentid=8813564] Oh man, exploiting the fact that the width of S8 is 2mm lesser than my already small S6e... if I use it like this, it also feel smaller than my S6e. It's not easy for people who gone big for a long time to appreciate the beauty of being small. Especially so when they start typing with their fingers that no longer knows what's accuracy is all about. It won't be easy... I still hate typing on my S6e at times, if not for the abundance of keyboard out there.

QUOTE(666devil @ May 14 2017, 07:51 AM) Trust me. U can fully blame the OS for not secured enough to enforce apps to behave as per settings. Fb will still suck ur battery at the background even if u turn off every background thing in the in-app settings. U need to disable their services like SNS. Google it and u shall find what services to disable. Oh, and u need to repeat the disablement every time u update major fb version. Been there done that. Good luck to u You can opt out if you are unhappy with it. I'm so much happier living without Facebook in my phone. If you think it's the OS fault, so be it. Android never meant to lockdown like Apple did on iOS. If someone decided to exploit it and yet users keep coming back, who is there to blame. If everyone uninstalled FB then things would change. Would you? LoL... who needs the bloated Fb anyway... lifeless...

QUOTE(dembaba9000 @ May 14 2017, 07:40 AM) After weeks of using the s8 i still can't get used to the new 18.5 to 9 format. Aesthetics over practicality?? I still feel that 16 to 9 is the best ratio to operate on phones. We all start somewhere... wasn't too long ago when 16:9 was being questioned.

QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ May 14 2017, 12:13 PM) I will never buy Huawei or iPhone phones as well. But one or two brands that I will suggest my friends to avoid is samsung and Huawei. No doubt these are good big phone manufacturers but the quality is still not there. HTC and Sony are better phones but due to lack of marketing budget comparable to Samsung, Huawei or Apple, their sales can't growth. In this world of mass manufacturing and profit orientated world, there's still people babbling about build quality as if there's phone being hand made? Seriously when people talked about build quality with Lego phone, I just find it funny.

QUOTE(dembaba9000 @ May 14 2017, 02:06 PM) For all you know, it's tuned by akg that's all, no where near audiophile grade. Most likely they shove a small dynamic driver and brand it with akg. Even the mi pistons pack better specs. So yeah 320kbps mp3 will do just fine. It's a dual dynamic.

LoL... so what's up with mass comparison with other brands flagship? Hahaha...
In the end, all these inequalities that can't be compared straight up means nothing in the end. The benchmark being used in the end would be economy since it's the only common element found for all these devices.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ May 14 2017, 06:30 PM) Haha! but Snapdragon is target for US market, dunno what their thinking of, maybe they want to find a great reason to ditch the Snapdragon one day. Didn't you already knew the hanky panky deal between Qualcomm and Samsung regarding SOC?
