I have already contacted them, need to fill some form and wait 6 to 8 weeks before investigation complete. No need to pay for the transaction for the time being.

Hi all,

I have just signed up for 0% installment.

Lets say for the installment I have to pay RM200 per month.

But this month I used the same card for shopping up to RM800.

Does that mean my outstanding balance of this month will be RM1000?

Ok, what if I don't pay in full of my outstanding balance in this month, I just pay RM800.

Will my 0% installment be considered paid for this month. Because I read about something about not paying the 0% installment will lead to heavy interest penalty which I don't want.

Please kindly clarify me on this question. Much appreciate. biggrin.gif

Balance rm200 get interest plus any new purchase will be no more interest free. New purchase interest will start once it posted.

hi, im charged for uob yolo and i'm wondering why. balance due date is 580.88 and i paid that amount.
but i dont know y uob split my payment into 2, 159 and 411.88 which add up to only 570.88, short of rm 10. why?
And then i was charged 3.56 and i wonder is this number correct? how to count? my statement date is 26th and my due date is 15th/16th
*
How did you pay your card? Cdm or through uob ac ? What's the exact amount did you pay ?

If my Citibank outstanding is RM200, but I transferred RM2,000 to clear the outstanding, it will be extra RM1,800 in my Citibank CC, can i just leave it there for a long time? or bank will forfeit the money or transfer for my saving account (but I dont have SA with Citi).
*
Any particular reason you need to transfer so much? Why not only 200 ?

That's not late payment charges that's interest charge. You didn't pay in full ?

I think I did pay full, it must be cashback. As i foreseen I will be having RM2 cash back in this month, then i pay RM2 lesser. Then the interest should be came like this.

Diff between Visa vs. Mastercard? i think most merchants accepting CC would accept both brands, right?
*
Yes. Only Amex is more difficult to find merchants accepting it.

What does 'no compounding charges' means?
*
Compound interest la, @bunga atas bunga. Understand? If every month pay in full no need to worry compound or non compound interest. Only Islamic card got non compound interest.

So if outstanding RM100, interest 10%, so interest for conventional:
Month 1=RM10
Month 2= RM110*10%=RM11
Total interest=RM21
Islamic:

Month 1=RM10
Minth 2=RM10
Total=RM20

?
*
Yup,something like that la.

If like that everyone also like to pay minimum lor but in reality interests is damn kaw high that's why we pay in full to avoid interest.

How do I check my anniversary month for my card especially UOB? I can't remember.

One is supposed not to use that card in its anniversary month just in case bank doesn't want to waive the annual fee right?
*
Isn't it written on your card eg 04/23 ,that mean on expired on April 2023

I have called Maybank to have my statement date revised to 3rd of each month. They say it'll take some 30days to have it effected. I checked my M2U just a while ago, and noticed that my bill statement is not out yet, but the statement date/due date is not yet changed..
[attachmentid=9615735]

But based on the screesnhoot above, got the outstanding amount figure, but no stated minimum amount to pay, and the amount due also?
*
From the screenshot your statement date already 3rd ma,what statement date date actually you ask MBB to change?

You said your salary is out every end of month,so statement date on 3 rd is actually very good timing . Not so?
