I don't recall you need millions of points too redeem stuff. With AmEx 5xTP,  one can easily accumulate points. I have accumulated around 400k too and redeemed all, now back to 200k which I haven't redeemed yet. 400 points = RM 1, so 20k for RM 50.

So let say no swap after the 1k, at the end of next month, how much would the interest be?

I'd say 1k * 1.5% * 1 month / 365 days. Is this correct?

I deposit 3k into my cc account, so my CL will increase rite too. Is it for temporary? My current CL is 6K...then after deposit it should be 9k, let say this month total transactions is 7k what happen to
2k CL? So my CL for the next cycle still 9k or 6k?

Normally how many days the bank processing and tell you got rejected or approved? My first time apply MBB 2 cards on last Tuesday at MBB branch.

13. RM50 Government Service Tax - Currently STILL IN FORCE
With effect from 1 January 2010, there will be service tax imposed on credit card as follows :
i. RM50 per annum on each Principal Card; and
ii. RM25 per annum on each Supplementary Card
The service tax will be collected on the date the card is issued, or on the completion of each year or on the date of renewal of the card (except HSBC which will be billed 1 month later). This means that the above mentioned service tax shall be levied on new credit card issued effective from 1 January 2010. For existing credit cards issued before 1 January 2010, the service tax shall be levied upon anniversary of card issuance.

Hi, recently I was charged the annual fees RM600 of my Citibank Platinum reward card that never happened to me, as I have been their loyal card holder for 10 years. When I called the officer, who could give 50% discount of it that I still had to pay for RM300. Then he suggested to use my 75k reward points as cash redemption for RM300. Also, he would give extra RM50 cash back that would be credited to my next statement. In the end, I paid the annual fee RM250.

I am wondering whether other banks are compulsory starting to charge the annual fees as well. Thanks.

Anyone know what is the process to apply for additional card from the same bank? I'm already holding 1 of the card that was issued by the bank. Can just call their card department? For Public Bank to be precise.

Hi guys i would like to ask, I've been using my credit card for oversea usage only for example the totalled bill is around 8k but i've paid half which is 4k, the balance amount will be carry forward to next month bil? and some late payment charges will be charged right?

even if we pay minimum payment, we still kene that 1.5% fee (if per annum 18%)?
