Hey guys I have 2 bikes (Modennas Kris 110) sitting in my house for 2 years without starting it up. I tried to start it up today but failed to do so. Any idea what happened and what should I do?

Yeah new Rebel looks good. But if finances are your concern, definitely hold the purchase. We don't know how long Recovery MCO will last.

You're not alone though. I may have to let go of my bike as well in favor of something smaller/downgrade back to scooter because of these uncertain times. But right now there is no 150cc scoot with ABS other than the Yamaha NVX which is a thief magnet. If the ADV150 is launched next year with ABS, I might go for that.

adv 150 oredi confirmed by bsh..
pipu even booked...

Saw the new rebel 500 selling at 33k. So tempted to buy but wouldn't be good for my.personal financials in these troubled covid times.

Anybody had experience with the previous rebel models? What's not to like about the bike, apart for it's not so powwow engine and mild top speed?

As im only use it for riding around town n going to work whr distance is around 20km, is it worth to get cb650r? Feels underutilized 😅

Looks, i prefer rebel 😅 but power n sound, cb650r 😂
*
now u ride wht bike to work?
takut later kenot tahan susah.. got alot jem?

Hi guys, I am curious what is the price of choppers here? If let's say one is available for sale.

For example, the red one below. Apparently it's made by Orange County Chopper

these are custom made choppers.
price depends on level of customization, skill n reputation of the sifu, several reputable ones, one eg is
sifu omar jumiran /eastern bobber, won 2nd place freestyle @ AMD

Iron 883 is on my list too actually, recond price i can afford.

Juz i dunno bout HD maintenance, reliability, n spare parts.

Iron883 good?
*
my kin had a 48 for several years, now sold to main sbk,
most of the time d bike parking oni... so i oso not sure bout mentenen.

wht i noe is, hd here is of cos way overpriced. even the rekon ones those days, and now..

unless u r die hard fan, goin for tht hd brand might as well choose others.

u can find why the bolt is 883 killer as claimed by ymahal,
2016 bolt is not tht old.

infos bout 883 is plenty on the net, plenty of local 883 owners.

the bolt, only thing ... the ekzos sound.. won't sound like a 883 bcos the stroke is not long like a harley..

HD bikes mostly for long ride, 883 or 750 i guess is more suitable for short distance and town ride. Between those two, i prefer 883 looks 😅
*
tis is ymh's reason.. a lot of reviews by owners

town ride.. make sure u can tahan the heat, it's air cooled.. biggrin.gif
don't komplen bout vibration..

another thing.. u mebe cant find a used rekon 883 wit abs,,.. if got means more $$$$

Wah. The heat cannot tahan eh 😅

Like tht maybe street 750 better? Liquid cooled
*
cant' say street 750 is better..

they buy harley is bcos of this signature sound..
if you have no reaction towards this sound, no stim..
then maybe hd is not for u.. look closely at the twitching engine.. lol...

the street750 on the other hand, is not able to produce this idle sound... and here r some reasons why they don't like this bike

Between MT-15 and MT-25, or more specifically, 150cc vs 250cc, which one is a better choice for commuting and weekend long distance riding?

My thinking is 150cc motorcycles will be cheaper to maintain and probably smaller/lighter in size. While 250cc will have more power to reach higher speed and less buzzing with the parallel twin.

Also, will 250cc (a) depreciates more and (b) easier to let go when compared to 150cc motorcycles? I'm planning to upgrade to 500-600cc range after 5-6 years of riding.

Do you think the selling price of 5 years old FZ150 and Z250 now is a good indication of future MT-15/25 resell value?
*
Just look at the used r25 price. Bike with fairing suppose to be more in demand than naked bike. Also there are plenty of other choices now.

Anyone knows where to buy a carton of engine oil? My bike needs 3.2L per change, if I can get a 6-12 pack at a cheaper price, that would be great.

The gap between my last lesson (last Tuesday) and exam (Friday) was too long. No motorcycle to practice at home. Last week, I requested a short practice session for yesterday but they said it is full already. unsure.gif

But, it is quite consistent. My first Titi of every lesson sure drop down from the bridge. The hand not yet used to the clutch and the body not yet used to the two wheel balance yet. But 2nd Titi attempt onwards is okay.

Now my next exam date is 20 Nov, and the day before the riding school grant me 2 hours practice a day before exam day...

the clutch lever you can adjust it to have plenty of free play, ie make it very shallow, so you only need to release just a lil bit it will start to engage. You can rem the shit out of tht bike, to keep the rear tyre 'engaged' all the time, it will help you balance.

I think i trained with level 5 for 3 lessons, and level 3 for 1 lesson before QTI. I remembered i can hold the lever out quite far and the clutch still partially slipped, but for level 3, I need to pull in further in and I still haven'tget used to it. I found the lever level knob quite late, so I didn't get to fiddle around with it.

Bad luck for me I guess. Need more training.
*
you need to find out the problem tht u'r facing.

with out a bike to train. ni mcm very susah...

here we can only give all sorts of suggestions for you to try...

clutch engage earlier means you only need to release abit of lever, then it will start to slip.

for small hands, the hand don need to open too much, easier to control, more relaxing esp during traffic jam...
