For sure. A Japanese bike of equal displacement will be cheaper to maintain.

And IINM, these F900s are the successor to the F800R and so on, right? The ones that can be found for less than RM 35k on mudah right now.

- to squeeze more performance out - cornering ABS, supercharger, connectivity, suspension, active headlights

Guys brought a18 months old 310r with 1500kms on the odometer and already driven 3500kms in two months. Its an amazing bike. I am training on z650 in metro academy and the kawasaki doesn't come close to the beamer in terms of quality. Just go and check the colour quality on both. Also the z650 is lower mileage and newer than my beamer.
The only problem until now is the first 3 gears are high. You need to drive and get used to it. Abs is absolutely amazing, kicked in atleast 4/5 times and saved my bones.

Been trying to look for a more highway/touring friendly windscreen for my Ninja 400. Turns out only Zero Gravity from the USA produces a taller Sport Touring windscreen which makes them cost over RM600 here with shipping. 

Anyone know any alternatives?

I think I understand how that works, but it looks pretty goofy if I use it on my bike since it's nowhere as big. Those giant sports tourers can pull off the look though...makes them look like police bikes.

My bigger concern is that I won't know how it will affect the bike's aerodynamics. I guess all things considered, maybe the 600 for the Zero Gravity screen is somewhat justified. But at times like these, I do miss the cheap tall screen on my NMAX.

If item is 600 it will maybe add around 10% of the item's value. I've never heard of anything double in price from imports. Even when my family member imported car part that cost 900 from the USA it ended up being 1k after tax.

I have used these before. It wont work if the hole is large like a nail of screw. Best is still those "worms" or tyre plugs. Check out electric pumps. they are small. If you are a frequent tourer I am sure you have boxes. So storage is no issue.

This weekend, gonna change fork seals, fork oil, EO, and maybe mono and brake fluid.

Fork oil - telescopic fork, standard is 10W, but now inside is cap ayam oil. Gonna go with 20W. 10k~20k km supposed to change once.
Brake fluid - DOT4 loh... 20k km supposed to change once.
Mono - 25 years old, so...

Ride a TZM... lol
Need new seat wrap, oils, etc...

Also, recommending my friends to up their fork oil (R25, Ninja 250s, TNT135 etc) from stock to 20W.
The R25 I've tested, are firm on the rear, but front is lacking damping.
