Lol. On one of my cars, my last tank of gas was before covid. Battery dead. Hoses rotted. Exhaust rusted. But still starts and runs. My company car also not getting enough use.
1 butt, 2 cars and a bike. Thinking of a 2nd bike but don't see how I can get any mileage on it.
Had new corsa s123 rears 150/60 installed 2 months back on my dominar. Done about 2000kms.
Grip is decent but not stellar, takes a bit to warm up. Haven't really pushed it in the wet.
Kindda lost the bike's inherent highway stability (the long wheelbase of the dominar is damn stable cruising 130-140 and not affected by wake and crosswinds). Now it's all over the place.
Checked alignment marks, ok, tyre pressure ok (was overinflated to 33psi a bit when mounted by shop). Running factory spec at 29psi now. Might lower it a bit more to test.
On the flip side, much more willing to lean in.
My old Zeneos 30/70s were much more stable and confidence inspiring. Faster warm up.
Maybe find another better rear once this wears out in 6 months or so.
Noob question: how do you know the tire is warm or not? I only thought it matters only to slick tires.
Used to use the R26 I think, my opinion on Corsa tires is that initially the grip is decent, but as it age, say 1-2 years from now, the rubber will harden and the grip is reduced quite substantially especially in the wet. This also applies to car tires as well, still remember my Toyo R1R had almost the same grip as new as when it is worn down to 20%, and I got a set of Nankang NS2R which was awesome when new but when worn down to 50%, the grip was shit. But yeah the Corsa I skid my front wheels a couple of times when emergency braking on my old bike without ABS.
If possible, just stick to the more expensive regular brands especially since you tend to use the front tire much longer than the rea r. Thanks guys! Sleepless nights are real. Now just ride to work and back only. And before this ride to hospital and back for a week countless times a day This review says the BMW is pretty shut
Am using them now for the past 6 months. Already clocked in 13k km+. Still going strong with very little signs of wear. Grip is way better compared to stock Dunlop Sportmax which lasted about 20k km. I rode the Sportmax to the max and I really think that the Road 6 will outlast the stock tyres.
Rode my sportmax until 12k km only since already botak. Then changed to power 5. Not as good as road 6 but it'll do for now.
well I guess I have to get those safety screws How did that happen? Parked too long or bad parking spot?
Not easy to get season parking at my old office so i just park at visitor area and pay rm2 daily. Maybe also bad parking spot since it is hidden from camera.
I heard last time it was worse in KLCC, but not sure about it now.
