Hello all. You may face some technical difficulties while trying to 'Add Cash' or 'Buy Gold' via Boost wallet due to an unexpected error with Boost's server.

QUOTE(powerlinkers @ Aug 7 2019, 10:37 AM) How much is your spread? Good afternoon. We charge a buy fee of 0.79% and a sell fee of 2%. On weekends, we charge an additional 2% for both buy and sell as the gold markets are closed. Why you do not advertise withdrawal charges? How much is the cost for physical withdrawal? - do not b*llshit like scam artists, give exact numbers. Physical gold redemption consist of a few charges: 1) The cost of the bar itself which includes the current price of gold + bar manufacturing cost 2) Cost of courier which includes additional charges should your location be very remote ( as advised by the courier company we use ) 3) Cost of insurance for the safe delivery of your gold ( 100% insured) When you redeem physical gold from us, we do not ask you to pay for these costs in Rm but what we do is deduct it from your gold balance. Let's look at the variables for redemption : a) The manufacturing cost is based on the different bar sizes b) Courier cost based on your location and weight of gold you would like to redeem c) Insurance cost based on how many grams you would like to redeem d) The price of gold that changes every minute That is why we would be more than happy to inform customers on the redemption cost via our Contact Centre (1300-130-888) as the quote to them would be accurate. The last thing we would want to do is to provide an inaccurate quote to our customers. Do contact us and we would be more than happy to provide you with the 'exact numbers' which you have asked for. It would be easier to give a percentage but that is not accurate at all. For your information, we are a company that provides the everyday person to be able to buy and save in gold. Most scam companies would promise you a certain return after a certain amount of time. We do not do that. We are a platform that gives people an alternative means to save for their future. There is nothing 'fishy' about the way we allow customers to buy gold as it is done via FPX or Boost. That just shows that we would like to have as much transparency as possible. After all, all FPX transactions are visible to respective regulatory bodies and Boost is ..well.. Axiata. I believe that quite a few of the forumers here are customers and yes, they have asked questions about us being a scam before. My personal pride is seeing those forumers now actually assist others with the queries in the forum as they have and still are using HelloGold. I applaud you guys. Thank you thank you. FYI....some big news coming soon. Keep a look out ya? This news would actually strengthen HelloGold's position as a company. |

QUOTE(khai0412 @ Aug 21 2019, 11:53 PM) ya rite...i quite sure is this problem...but hellogold just dun wanna listen...then just keep reply me wif the same msg about they will look into this problem...i chat wif them 5 times...5times same reply...😓 Our apologies for the delay and we thank you for your patience. Both the technical teams at Boost and HelloGold have been investigating this matter and are still in the midst of rectifying the situation. It is a very rare occurrence and unique technical case in which we are trying to solve in the best and fastest possible way. Rest assured, your HelloGold account remains intact and is not affected in any way. To not dive too much into technical jargon, upon the diagnosis of the failed transaction during the payment process, Boost's servers faced issues to recognize the transaction and hence returns the error message that you see on your screen. We seek your cooperation throughout this exercise and will be in touch with you personally to take you through the necessary steps to ensure your HelloGold experience and using Boost as your preferred payment method will not be affected in the future. I am sure you know that this does not occur every single time as your account shows your Add Cash transactions were successful on certain days. I noticed that you have been Adding Cash into your HelloGold account but have not bought gold. Are you having problems buying gold? Do let me know and I would be able to assist you. |

But, when I go to the app, it asked me to repeat the step again to recover the account.. so, why they email me n said it is approved but ended up I still can’t login.. Good morning. Please DM me with your email address and let me have a look at what happened. When you perform a Recovery, it is advised to kill the HelloGold app from running at the background and restart your phone after you have received an email from us saying that your Recovery has been approved. |

Hi all.
In line with the aim of making our customer experience seamless, you may now buy gold and fund your SmartSaver plan directly via Boost or online banking without having to Add Cash into your HelloGold wallet. For ease of use, we have removed the Add Cash feature. The HelloGold wallet will be used for storing the proceeds from the sale of your gold. The cash in your HelloGold wallet can still be used to buy gold or be withdrawn into your bank account. Thank you |

Hey all.
Just to clear a possible doubt, I would like to inform everyone that you still can Buy Gold directly OR fund your SmartSaver goal using both Boost and Online Banking. Under the "Select payment method", there will be a dropdown for: 1) Cash Balance 2) Online Banking 3) Boost If you have sufficient Cash Balance, you can utilize it to buy the amount of gold you would like OR Fund your SmartSaver goal. Alternatively, you can use your Online Banking account or your Boost account to make your purchase OR fund your SmartSaver account. Hope this clears the air |

QUOTE(balf @ Oct 15 2019, 02:59 PM) haha i have tried for fun. not worth it. The boost is giving 5cents (or 5%) rewards. The rounding of the gold in your HelloGold account that you see is actually for displaying the figure in-app. If you bought 0.0049 g of gold, you will have 0.0049 g of gold. the problem is hellogold charge too much, 0.79% for buy gold + another 2% for selling gold. Other than this, it always round down the amount. for example at gold price 200.86/g, rm1 supposed can purchase 0.0049g but after round down become only 0.004g. If you sell your gold at same price, after deduct that 2% you got only rm0.78, plus the 5cents rewards from boost. Masih rugi. |

QUOTE(siewty @ Oct 15 2019, 06:27 PM) What you means that HelloGold round down to 4 decimal place in system? rather then 3 decimal place? Good morning. We do not round up or down. We truncate to 3 decimal places to be displayed in the HelloGold app. As an example... if you hold 1.22652233444337895 g of gold, what you would see in the HelloGold app would be 1.226 g displayed. However, you would actually have 1.22652233444337895 g of gold in your account. I hope this helps. However, I only can see all transactions in 3 decimal place round down inside the apps. If really 4 decimal space, HelloGold apps should display exact figure up to 4 decimal place. |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Dec 23 2019, 03:01 PM) conclusion is without Boost promo, HG earn a lot from the buyers, they are just an "casino" apps, all program nicely, no gold inside... (i also doubt why they charge management fee... what they want to manage if no gold inside...) Again, as mentioned before, gold is not the way to go for a quick buck or gaming. It is more for long term savings. We are not a gaming nor a casino business/app.imagine 2.79% rise from RM200/g, that's RM205.58 (u need so much rise to cover ur loss), and some more the 2% is charge when u sell, not buy... so end up they will always win, like gambling software... if u request for real gold bar, check their tnc, they will charge u with another variation price, and no buy back from u btw, u should buy and sell immediately, no need lost 2.8%+, only merely 2.77% lost The gold you buy is physically stored in a vault and we have evidence to prove it by way of the customer list and the gold bar list. The gold bar list is on our vault partner official website, Bullionstar International, hence there is no way for us to fabricate that data. Please see Here If you would like, we can arrange for you to visit Bullionstar and they can show you the gold we hold. When would you like to visit the vault in Singapore? Do let us know and we will be happy to accommodate. The Administrative fee of 2% per year is for safe keeping of your gold, 100% insured physical gold storage. This fee also covers the audit done by an LBMA approved auditor, Bureau Veritas. If you would like, of course you can keep the physical gold with you. We provide customers with the choice either to hold their gold or to allow us to hold it for them for a small fee. We do not 'bake' any hidden fees into a spread. We are transparent with all our fees. As for redeeming the physical bar, of course there would be additional charges such as the cost of making of smaller bars, courier and insurance for the courier. The price we display in our app is based on the price from the gold market and we can offer our customers at that price as we buy in 1 KG bars. We pass on that savings to our customers as we fractionalize the gold. You may check with other retailers on how much they would charge you for a PAMP Suisse physical bar and you will notice that it is not at the gold market price. The main difference between HelloGold and many other gold retailers is that we allow you to buy in smaller fractions, as low as Rm1, and accumulate your wealth in gold for you to either sell or physically redeem the bar. If you would like, do drop me a DM with your contact number and I would be happy to speak to you in detail about HelloGold and what our business is about. Thank you |
