So far I've bought 4 Xiaomi sets. The first one was mi4i from Mi Malaysia set. After 2 months phone cannot make or receive calls. Brought it to Amcorp Mall for warranty claim, paid RM5 for parking and had to wait for about an hour to submit the set as there was a queue at that time. The centre don't only repair Xiaomi sets but also for other manufacturers. So can call Xiaomi specialist ka?

The next day received a call from service centre to collect set back as not under warranty due to water damage. I thought, WTF set never kena water or caught in rain how can water damage. Centre staff said can happen one. P*K*M*. Had to pay another RM5 to park at Amcorp Mall to collect my set back.

Next set Redmi Note 2, used for >2 years without a hitch. Bought AP set from DirectD. Still working fine, except that battery about to kaput di.

Next set Redmi 4 Prime, also AP set, also from DirectD. Almost a year now, set is beautiful.

Latest set MM2, also AP set. Bought online. Second month now, am loving it. Fingers crossed will last at least a year. Othewise, I consider still worth it as the savings is more the the premium price I would have to pay for the PKM Mi Malaysia set that don't honor their warranty (in my case anyway).

For for those who think that Mi Malaysia > than AP set, think again.

finally someone... lol... so you don't get the white screen of cloud for 3-4 secs?

meaning my device is faulty then.. I haven't been using it since, didn't even turn it on..

use ori cable, test reach 1500ma
borrow friend cable , test reach 3000ma
then swap ori cable again, test reach 3000ma

The white screen waiting time depends to your network. High speed will be very fast, your issue is 2-4 secs searching time or never get into the games?

Maybe there are too many apps open in the background, so it's a little slow .

It's not the searching time, it's after search, when you don't see the word 'searching', basically after searched completed before loading up your enemy base, that's when the 4 secs white screen lag appear.

Same as End Battle button, after pressing it there's also 4 secs white screen before you see your own base load up

It's a new phone, nothing has been installed at all besides COC, basically the only thing done since unbox...

The official width vs length are different: -

Mi Max 2: 174.1mm x 88.7mm
Mi Max: 173.1mm x 88.3mm

So I'm guessing it won't fit? Not sure, maybe owners here who had the first Mi Max can shed some light on this.

It fir perfectlym currently i use mm2 tg on my mm1. All holes at perfect place.

same experience like me, mine is xiaomi note cost me about rm1500. the power button got problem and keep restarting the phone suddenly when i was reading news on my phone. no chance to back up at all because the power button never gv u chance to press any command it will just restart the phone infinitely.

bring to xiaomi service center, the technician check for few days just told me there is no sign of me break the power button so should be under warranty claim. But he have to write a report to headquarter to get approval before he can proceed to repair my phone or otherwise he have to charge me labour cost rm28 + powerbutton cost rm100++.

So i opt to wait for the so called head quarter approval. end up 2 months the phone in the service center yet still cannot get the approval according to the technician. visit the service center few times inside the 2 month period....end up after arguing with the service center they only agree to waive the power button but still have to charge me rm28 labour cost.

after that i have no faith in xiaomi malaysia warranty, infact i just choose the cheapest price no matter is ap set or original set when i looking for xiaomi phone.
