Updated yesterday. So far so good. Like it. However, the camera is still fuzzy.

Thanks for the info. It's a difficult decision. Should I keep the Mi Max 2 or just buy another one. The cost to replace it is already around RM150 (86 shipping + labour of around 60). I tried to open the back cover to change the battery earlier, but not able to, and so have to bring it to a repair shop to help me change the battery.

I suspect it may be the repair shop may have displaced the camera module in the process. As before changing the battery the camera was fine.

Arrghh. Why after change battery dint check others.
Well. Since u already unvirgined your phone, I suggest open up to check yourself.
Maybe just loose pin.

I tried to pry open the back cover with the tools I bought online, but the damn back cover just refused to open. Even the prying plastic tool got totally bent also can't open the cover. That's why I sent it to the shop to replace the battery I bought online earlier.
