QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jul 17 2017, 01:24 PM) If set the microSD card as INTERNAL storage, then, yes... if i'm not mistaken, if we set microsd as internal storage, it will be encrypted. then if anything happen to the phone (cannot start, bootloop etc), no way to access the data inside the card.If set it to PORTABLE storage, by right no need to reformat.... |

QUOTE(sonicbull @ Sep 25 2017, 12:28 AM) Just google and find out Modular phones are dead. Good idea but too high cost to produce it for now. If camera is not your top priority then P2 is an excellent choice.Rm499 for the battery pack? Might as well just buy powerbank, right. I guess I'll go to Lenovo mobile store to test P2 before buying. Thanks for your reply |

QUOTE(sonicbull @ Sep 25 2017, 09:25 AM) Thanks it's true that ios offers better software updates, it should be when you have to pay premium price for the device. same thing should be done for premium android models but sadly not the case. the good thing about android is you have options based on your budget. That means iOS still rules for software updates support for older phone. I can live without NFC coz it's still relatively new here. One of the reason I want to change phone now is because my iPhone 5s will have no worth next year. Really don't want to spend so money on phone every 2-3 years and also keeping my older phones. Thanks for your input. The mobile world has change so much. I'm still in '2013' |

I wonder what lenoto engineers are doing. they have a proven best endurance product yet no news on the succesor. P3 with updated 630 chip and dual camera would be a great overall phone. perhaps lenovo itself not confidence in their own branding anymore, they spent more on getting moto phones out.

QUOTE(lolz1120 @ Dec 20 2017, 01:29 AM) Despite using the phone only as a spare from now on, i still find the cracked screen quite unbearable. Anyone has insights to share regarding the probability of lemoto introducing the "P3" any soon? Considering the cost of getting a screen replacement, my only option is to purchase a brand new unit (prices still unfriendly though, coz i prefer to buy from physical store, at least i get to test the unit just in case the battery is dead from sitting too long in the store) or wait for the upcoming "P3". Tough call indeed. I believe lenovo stopped manufacturing phones under lenovo branding and focus only on Moto. Judging from the Moto e4 plus which has 5k battery as well, there's still a possibility that they would produce something like the P2. Who knows they might be bringing back the maxx models in the future but as of now you'll probably have to look at xiaomi. |

QUOTE(lolz1120 @ Dec 20 2017, 12:27 PM) Ruled out option 1 and 2 due to the smaller size battery, took a look at the asus and despite the 5k battery, it's IPS, SD430 and 720p. Guess I will wait for further announcement from lemoto, or maybe i might have the sudden impulse to get it at directd (now going at 1098 for their megasale) a friend of mine just returned his zenfone 4 because of gps issue. the shop replaced with another unit but still the same. luckily managed to get refund and bought a huawei instead, gps locked in less than 10 seconds. |

QUOTE(lolz1120 @ Dec 20 2017, 02:01 PM) in a short 5 months time I had 5 different phones and I tested the gps lock while being in my house (ground floor apartment) and connected to home wifi. the phones before P2 were moto x play, honor 8, honor 9 and xz1 compact. the fastest to lock was the honors then followed by the p2, moto and finally the sony. |
