this msg is from bank that an attempt to charge the card from merchant.

since no OTP triggered & received, bank would reject the transaction. then it will update back to Lazada.

go check Lazada Order page. sometimes the order will be canceled/rejected. if so, the amount charged will be forfeited and wont be posted into your card.


depends on your intended results whether to purchase or hope it get canceled my purchases so far with lazada, will always trigger OTP.

check the features of the card lo.

if nothing interesting or no use to you, just cancel it. have a little peace of mind with 1 lesser useless card to maintain.

u already got the answer anyway, why asked it at the first place?

they added webe earlier this year. DarReNz missed this update for post #2.

no idea on others, unless someone else tried SI with them. most likely not eligible since​ CIMB is very specific on the list.

different bank, different card, different statement date, different delivery time.

for CIMB, in my case, around 3 days eStatement sent via email, after statement date on 28th. so for this month, i'm expecting eStatement on 31 May.

there IS existing sms notification, but the threshold is HIGH, so you hardly hit this to trigger the SMS.

calling CS to reduce the threshold to RM1, that means any spending hitting RM1 and above will trigger the SMS. it's not annoying to keep receiving these SMSes, in fact i'm happy to receive it knowing my card is "telling" me its "health", whether it's being abused or not
