Dear Sir/ Madam,

Please be informed that with effect from 12 September 2017, the use of your credit card for purpose of betting or gaming transactions, including but not limited to the purchase of lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting, wagers at race tracks or for transactions relating to travellers cheques, foreign currency and money order would be treated as cash advances attracting finance charges at a maximum rate of 1.5% per month from the date of advance until repayment in full and a cash advance fee at the rate of 5.0% of the amount drawn or RM15.90, whichever is higher.

Please take note that the Cardholder Terms & Conditions have been amended to reflect the above, and such amended terms and conditions shall take effect 21-days from the date of this notice i.e. 12 September 2017.

The revised Cardholder Terms & Conditions can be found on our website at www.cimbbank.com.my or a copy obtained upon request from our branch personnel.

this is why u need to monitor ALL your spending vs categories, if you intend to maximize cb across various categories.

ah yes, it has 2 tier of cb.

read carefully what is written on the statement: statement balance and payment due date. adhere to both.

this is a known issues for few months.

for pbb quantum, same issue. just call CS and they'll make the adjustment accordingly.

are you sure cimb lazada card no issue?

this so-called stunt is not cimb's fault, it's lazada's.

payments to charity and government related payments are both categorically NOT ELIGIBLE since 3 April 2017.

Lazada's is a temporary issue that cropped up in June 2017. they still honor the reward back the (missed) cb. we're hoping it get fixed soon because it's also affecting other cards, not just CIMB CR. Again, this is not CIMB's fault either.

payment due date = statement date + 20 days

since each month has varied days (e.g. Feb has 28/29 days, other months have 30/31 days), due date usually off 1 day (except Feb)

since you already swiped, best to know is by calling CS directly. else wait later this month and count if your cb inclusive of MCD delivery trx.
