Can anyone tell me what are the "enhancement" for the cash rebate platinum card?

even my colleagues complain about it

enhance oversea spending but local spending is downgrade

maybe a bit off topic, i saw some people suggest go for pbb quantum to replace cimb cash rebate, but i check this website the 5% seems like not for online shopping

that's the strategy. get CB on 29th. clear outstanding minus cb. call to terminate. clean cut!

Before cancelling on 1st Nov, should I clear the statement or outstanding balance amount? Because I have some 5% cashback this month, so the outstanding will be lower than statement, but I heard before that we should always pay according to the statement balance.

if i've credit balance in my credit card, can I asked them to transfer to my CIMB CASA FOC b4 cancel?

Hi, do you have any idea the campaign period is refer to approval date or submission date? I just submit my application through CIMB website last week and I can see that submission date is 13/10/2017 through the application checker

Personally, I'll just cancel.. then at least if got cards with better benefits, can apply again and be entitled for "new to bank" gifts/rewards..

after this month statement and pay off the bill will request to transfer all rebate given to savings account and cancel the card
then after got the $ in savings
then wait until lazada prepaid gave me all the cash back in January
February will terminate relationship with cimb if no better card
then new to bank customer to enjoy free gift

ok..i jus call cimb call centre..i ask tht guy. i from cimb..IB side retail equities..tht new enhancement is pretty useless..online spend 0.2% unlimited capping? who want to use? sure alot people threatening to cancel it..if change to 1% or 3% with unlimited capping maybe reduce cancelation chance on this CB...and tht cinema cash  rebate also almost usless also..i repeat tell him..please highlight to management again this else lose even more customer..
