Ever since the last update, Mi has been aggressive with their ad service (have to manually opt out the ad settings in privacy, security etc...), especially when opening Mi Music app (showed as splash screen). And there is still no way to disable or to uninstall the useless app vault until now (currently on latest 9.5 stable)...

Still on MIUI 8.2.10.0 running on marshmallow here
 Looks like this new 9.5.8.0 update looks promising from the response here. Like the internal audio recording and improved GPS performance. Hope you guys can keep us on update about the performance. Well it does get a new screen, but the shop has made his battery swell, the screen popping out, he went back to the shop and ask them to fix it back. What they do is, they put a lot of glue to force it become flat, and blame my friend for own fault that makes battery swell, which before sending it for repair, the battery is in good condition. That's my story, go for Xiaomi shop if can wait for next day collection |

Damn i missed using rn4 after migrate to s8 the battery doesnt last long like rn4.

my gps is good.
test go to kampung, felda, felcra, no coverage for mobile after a while, then got back the coverage, waze connected like usual. no problem. everything smooth. |
