found a near perfect tempered glass for this phone 

the good
- fully fit the edge, no more dust
- no rainbow, fully adhesive to the screen unlike those tp that only got adhesive on the side
- no sensitive issue

the bad
- left and right side still got a little air (I did not apply any oil, after apply i think the air will disappear)
- quiet difficult to apply
- might not fit all case because is fully fit
- tg will overlap some of the screen maybe 0.1cm

I'm not sure whats the brand, because my friend gave it to me. I might buy a few again after I know the detail

using new miui 8.5.4 in dual boot. so far so good.

When you buy the phone, make sure it says Malaysia set, then check with Sirim website the imei number settle.

Because the phone is called 4X internationally but in Malaysia its called note 4, even in the phone info the model is note 4 but the rom is using 4x rom actually. So it's very confusing just make sure u get a snapdragon version Malaysia set

Just got a Malaysia set Redmi note 4 and I can confirm it's actually 4X. But my camera sensor is Samsung 

Updated to latest Miui 9 developer rom, experiencing battery draining and when devices sleep for too long, double tap won't wake the phone.

Overall, Miui 9 quite smooth.

I notice 1 thing, the auto brightness is brighter now even at lowest setting. Previously lowest setting auto brightness is way darker. Don't rly like this
