I just unplugged my external antenna.
I didn't tie hard enough and the angle/direction has ran off. The speed not stable. I took 2 hours to adjust it last time.
Now i am thinking direct put the modem outside my house.
Much stable.

We can't judge which CPE is better without knowing the hardware spec.
There are look about the same B310 & E5180.

Question: Those Huawei router that can accept a phone via RJ45 port, can I use the port to connect to a fax machine to send fax? I guess cannot since mobile and land line totally different system right?
*
Phone line is RJ11.
To use fax with mobile network, you need apply for the fax service addon. So far i only know maxis has it, not sure about other telco.

Do you think a Phone like Pixi 4 can have a MicroUSB to RJ11 port converter ?
*
Micro usb to RJ11?
Don't think there has such of product.
USB to RJ11 probably yes. But don't think phone support it, and it might driver too. And i cant think any reason for a developer design it.
The phone itself has all the normal analog phone function.

for experienced end users, would know the product specifications is fake info.

(china market there a lot these fake info antenna lah from era wifi till now 4g and in the future 5g, 6g)
Yagi good for IT CANNOT HIDE SOMETHING INSIDE A PLASTIC CASING LIKE PANEL ANTENNA DO, so u can see the structure clearly.

====================
multi band or single band yagi?
====================
all elements (those batang batang) same size - how can it support multi bands as the info claiming 700 - 2700mhz??? one element size support one band, so this is a single band antenna, whether for 2400mhz or higher need to c actually the element length.

dual band yagi got two rows of different size elements (batang), so it support 2 different band. and this is the limit already...

if that yagi one element size support 700-2700mhz better juz ask manufacturer sell to USA military team in bulks, no need so hard sell online to targent innocent end user.

=================
25dbi, 28dbi fake or true?
=================
yagi length - only 56 cm, then it dare claim 25dbi, 28dbi bla bla bla .  antenna size is in linear relationship with dbi gain. Larger/longer = higher dbi. While 18dbi yagi with 70-80cm only manage to achieve 18dbi, how can a shorter yagi 56cm to achieve 25dbi, 28dbi...

also others info that really...

VSWR: <2.5  - 2.5 really bad antenna engineering, must come from house made or metal hardware manufacturer without rf equipment, not rf manufacturer.

watt - one write 10watt, the other write 50watt...
======================
can 2400mhz yagi support 2.6GHz
======================
while a yagi made specially for 2400mhz does not mean it can not support neighboring band like 2500, 2600mhz...  juz the gain effect would drop, no high gain at neighbour frequency.

e.g. 2400mhz 18dbi yagi does not have 18dbi gain effect on 2500, 2300 etc...

2100mhz 18dbi 3g yagi also can boost 2600mhz signal tested last time also verified by users, just does not have 18dbi effect

so sbd said it got effect is true, sure got some gain effect, but you are paying for sth you ought to get or what you should have achieved.
=====
sellers
=====
there are very few networking specialized online seller already, most now sell various things like mr. diy as long as can see sth profitable can sell then juz sell, won't bother to verify the info of products. some newbies seller even juz 100% believe what china seller said or write in the sale page with good photoshop pictures.

u can also see seller doing drop shipping like the one said over 7 days shipping, he don't hold any stock.
so,
the end user networking world is collapsing thanks to these. nowadays wanna see a retail network shop also difficult as many already gulung tikar, and existing one only focus on corporate client, don't bother to deal with end user who like to quote online info said this china antenna bla bla how many dbi how cheap bla bla...

good tradisional and project based antenna like parabolic dish/grid, yagi, panel, log periodic, patch type are expensive (cost = material = quality), so really can not fit current consumer taste - wanna cheap, cheaper and cheapest but must be highest dbi ya! so those china fake info network products fit in this piece of market nicely as we do not have an mobile equipment to proof users how many dbi an antenna got, so ya quite sadly.
*
Hello, i have few technical questions which hope you can answer me.
1. LTE-A is combination of 2 bands, so it won't suitable to use with yagi?

2. Most modem support dual antenna, mean can i buy 1x 1800mhz + 1x 2600mhz to avoid q.1 problem?

3. LTE-A must connect to same tower or i can point west tower for 1800mhz but east for 2600mhz, to make the greatest possible speed?

wah LTE-A network? what modem?
btw, using the E5186 tool software for my B310, I can detect the connection after login and can select band manually but how do I know if it really affected my modem connection and not just showing on that software screen?
*
E3372 LTE only.
My phone has LTE-A, max at 80m.

You have to believe the software lol.
But usually band 3 have stronger signal. Compare both and see the signal.

being driving around on my town today doing speed test...

can summarize few things...

more populated area bandwidth/speed is limited even my device are show full bar signal with 4G...

D : 1mbps, U : 16mbps
D : 5mbps, U : 19mbps

getting something like that lol...

less populated area then can get good speed on D...

seem like equipment cant support many users  sweat.gif
*
Imagine you have 50m unifi, share with 1 person or 20 persons. How much each can get, it is same theory.
But of course, higher populated areas are equipped higher bandwidth.

Telco cant control/estimate movement of the users.
For example commercial area, morning 20k users but night only 500 users, or resident area, morning 300 users but night 5000 users. Telco quite hard to adjust it actually.

You wouldn't know how popular this plan is... They even thought of terminating the promo much earlier. Too overwhelmed.

Maybe, i80 users are not much discussing here.
But i feel that digi ends i80 promo earlier because they place the pricing too cheap, and regret.

That one, I have no idea but these surat sumpah is legal documents that you will abide with their term and condition.
i need to ask webe again regarding these, what if I kantoi again and see how they gonna respond.

For now, I just put the SIM card into my mobile first and see when they unsuspend it
*
Why want to sumpah lol? I didnt read the tnc for webe, not so sure do they have any guideline cannot use on modem/pc. But when my intention is using it on pc, they blocked me, i need beg them unlock it? They have sick is it? Just take back the sim card and terminate the service.

It's their requirements to make pledge that you will abide their TnC to unsuspend the service

First of all, the plan is for mobile phone use only. That's why they called it webemobile which only for mobile usage.
They even told me if you want to use for PC, please subscribe their webe broadband.

In fact in most of Telco, they have the right to suspend the account if you have suspected have breach thier TnC and acceptable usage policy.

Even with TM unifi too, just they want to enforce it or not?
That's another question.
*
"Mobile" this term is very wide. Unless they state clearly it is mobile phone.
I use it on PC doesn't mean it is not mobile. I can bring laptop anywhere.

Anyway, they have right to set any terms which both have to agree. But request customers to sumpah, sorry it is a joke for me. If they dont like the customers, just blacklist them and ban them forever. Don't treat customer like beggar.

Mobile mean movement only.

If u read their TnC, they clearly said that webemobile is for mobile phone. Hotspot are need to pay.
But you know Malaysian including myself malas to read , just agreed

U are right but if Kena blacklist, it may be hard to subscribe other Telco since the list are linked. Be better to terminate it properly with black and white
*
I think it was added recently or after. Before this, i remember some peoples got clarify from their CS, it can use on modem/non-certified phone without sharing. Anyway, i think i will swear i will never use webe.

above seller attitude quite rude..only requested him to sent me a tracking number when the product is sent out and just received his reply through Lelong :
"be patient pls, too many order for sma. expect middle of the week"

I don't usually get this type of rude reply from online seller nowadays. must be too many people from lowyat support him then now lc d.

This kind of antenna doesnt seem much useful for me.
It just work like stabilizer, doesnt increase a lot signal strength.

night time the speed so so fast, but day time drop to just few mbps and not stable.. up down up down... currently using hotspot from a phone. If I get a usb modem, will the connection be more stable?
*
It depends. But most cases, modem is better design than phone. Modem usually won't worse than phone, either same or better result.
