QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 19 2017, 04:17 PM) After using tonnes of modems over the years and I have owned more than 20 modems and few MiFis throughout the whole journey, I still think Huawei performs the best and follows by ZTE. Though I'm not a fan of Huawei due to job related reason but it still does its work the best when it comes to wireless broadband stuff. Hey I remember you, from the the - issit maxis/celcom unlimited stuffs days, let's pray so other telcos also joins the unlimited 4G lte bandwagon, amen to that! I have ordered E5186-22a and E5786-32a, both are with my friend now and she will bring over for me from China in mid of May. Remember only these variants work for Malaysia's 4G+. You may get cheaper in Taobao, but please check the variants and usually these two variants are more expensive and have lower stock quantity. The other variants may work for only 4G which I don't want. I want 4G+. Can't wait. At the same time, I still have UniFi 50Mbps on top of my Infinite 150. I have the plan to relocate my UniFi account to my sister's house once it is activated in her area or terminate when my contract ends, in few months time... Less than 6 months. blacktubi one of the sifu there and that avatar snake Pokémon guy, chuachacs or something. This post has been edited by Turnip: May 1 2017, 01:42 AM |

QUOTE(amirudin920927 @ May 1 2017, 09:45 AM) kalo tak gaming, this infinite 150 way better than unifi (if ur place got good coverage la lol).. with RM150 can get up to 60Mbps (for me) at home + can tethering.. Good coverage can have low ping too. Although not as good and stable as unifi, still better than streamyx. My area ping 11ms with 4 bars signal. Since there's so much demand on antennas, I will share a bit on some basic antenna guide.
Don't bother on tiny antenna, you are better off with the internal antenna in that case. I do not recommend getting antenna unless the signal is terrible at your location. LTE is much more complicated than GSM. If you really need it, get a panel antenna and make sure you aim it right. Use tools like MDMA to assist you. Aim around until you get the best signal. Feel free to ask me for more info. |

Get the best low loss cable designed specific for telecommunications technology. At least get lmr300 or 5d-fb. The best Lmr400 or 7d-fb. 10meter loss below 3dbi. Market price about RM10 per meter.Don't bother on tiny antenna, you are better off with the internal antenna in that case.
