I think redmi note 3 support interband. This is the reason why i never choose Huawei phone now, because still not so confident with their Kirin CPU. Only choose snapdragon for now.
*
I wish it could but if you go to RN3 thread all of them complaint there's know interband CA support for RN3.. hopefully got patch or rom to fix this issue.. and pray hard this is not a hardware/hardcoded thing..

Nope.

Some kind of soft cap. Example:

When your usage below 10GB > Max speed.
Below 50GB > 90%
Below 150GB > 70%
Below 300GB > 50%
Below 500GB > 30%
500GB+ 15%

Including some conditions like the tower bandwidth, total users... adjust to some best speed and fair to everyone.

telco like Digi have SLA? like unifi have 80% for what I know

No, soft cap is under covered by the agreement, the FUP (fair usage policy). You may google this term and how enforced by other countries telco.

But Malaysia telco just abuse it and describe as "quota"

If I remembered correctly Digi also did not advertise their speed for LTE and LTE-A right?

Oh ya that right. LTE-A modem is too overprice for me.
LTE-A coverage just 200m away from me.
LTE modem should be sufficient in this case right?
*
wow so close! for that range can get >30Mbps is good enough.. at least for me..

damn. u are lucky.right now im still nagged with digi throttling my speed. speedtest could get 20Mbps.when downloading, limited to 6Mbps.

i believe digi is randomly throttling its users.
*
Traffic shaping maybe bcs too many Digi's subscribers there?

See you guys are already talking about the next gen alarm system, mine is still pretty old, can't use others, must be landline. Unless redo whole thing, will be costly.
*
I can see trends nowadays developer or smart home system are ip-based.. Alarm can trigger on your smartphone instead of conventional house siren

The antenna only help you to gain coverage like outside of your house.

If inside and outside of your house is same. No need.

If inside of your house low coverage compare to outside. Go buy it.
*
in my case I've tested both.. indoor will get around 20Mbps++ while outdoor close to 60Mbps.. should I go for an antenna?

Let the unlimited wars begin lol...

Anyways, UM network already congested. So we'll see how it goes with the unlimited plan. And only 10gb hotspot. Almost similar with the digi i80 plan with 5mbps speed.

Hopefully with this, Digi will prolonged its promo or at least according to tentative which ends at 24th June..

rhytion I doubt the hardware is even CA capable to begin with. hmm.gif

In this case, it's not on dual CA mode. Only single carrier.
*
I think it's not the hardware fault as Snap 650/652 is known to support cat7 lte and 4g+.. I think it's their manufacturer who restricted it to not support 4g+
