So you mean get router with sim slot....

notworthy.gif  Thanks !

not necessary.. depends on what ISP that you plan to use.. in our case its Digi, then yes use one with sim card slot for ease of use..

Hey guys. Thought of getting the new Digi Infinite 150.

Which modem/router/mifi etc will you guys recommend ?

Gonna share the connection to the whole house(terrace house) if possible. I already have a D-Link and TP-Link from Streamyx and there are quite old, around 2013 routers xD

How is your speed with E5186? =)
Guys, according to digi website there is no indoor LTE-A coverage at my house but outdoor LTE-A coverage is full. Should i invest in LTE-A modem and yagi/mimo antenna? or just stick with normal LTE modem?

Thanks
*
cause an lte-a mifi or modem easily one have to fork out about RM500 (local distro) and above suggest that you test it first at you location first as suggested by our fellow forumers here..

buy a digi prepaid and test it using lte/lte-a phone and compare the speed of indoor and outdoor.. if you satisfy with the speed only then you can decide whether to invest on those mifi or routers or not..

Tried speedtest using my LG V10..but nt sure its support LTE-A or nt..the speed just barely 20mbps
*
from gsmarena your v10 does support LTE-A just that I'm not sure it has CA support or not.. just like my phone though a cat7 and support lte-a from spec, there's no CA support does giving me about 20Mbps

I was using LG V10 H961N and confirmed it has 4G+. I was enjoying 100Mbps Celcom on it. laugh.gif
If it's H962, which is a TW set has no luck to get 4G+ here.
*
I see.. choosing phone variant is also like choosing correct modem/router.. another has support another none sweat.gif

This was under my consideration too but again the band frequency thingy is the thing I hate the most.
Most of Sierra AC790s come from Australia and gotta be careful with just B3+B3 instead of B3+B7 CA.

I discarded the idea and bought E5186 and E5786 which I did research on the variants before purchasing.
*
if the seller state that it uses the bands below can we consider it as a safe buy?

Anyone know if this Huawei E5186s-61a compatible with Digi LTE?

This one sold by andrew's e-store
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=83841130

How does this model differ to E5186s-22a?
*
as from review here: http://www.4gltemall.com/blog/tag/huawei-e5186s-61a/
that 61a model is for Australia.. fruitie had warned us that at Aussie there are using CA like B3+B3 or B7+B7 not the usual config use by Digi which is B3+B7..
I might be wrong though.. to be safe you might wanna ask your seller smile.gif
