Most mobile network provider blocks port it seems except for maxis broadband

if your CCTV using cloud like Xiaomi then no problem to view/access the camera

One solution is to use VPN, I use this on Digi infinity and was able to view CCTV feeds and other portfowarded services
Should also work with webe

It is not necessarily due to blocking but because of ‘double NAT’ issue. In other word, you might have port forwarded the necessary port from your router to the IP but from the IP it is not forwarded up to higher IP. Basically the ip you’re using on mobile data connection is a shared of one or a range of IP originated from ISP.

I was a maxis user myself before jumped to webe end of last year.

I strategize to fully utilize the advatages of maxis one prime by getting 4 subline under me ( 188 + 48 + 48 + 48 + 48) which made the cost to rm80 perline. Webe still cheaper, but we are talking about maxis average 30 Mbps vs webe average 2 Mbps here.. well yeah maxis is not that great, but webe really had given me headaches..

Disadvantage is that I need to replace my rm119 10mbps unifi with the 50mbps rm179 maxis fibre.. I might regret this

As a bonus, I can buy phone with cheaper prize from maxis or take phone under the RM1 deal. 🤗

4G but not as fast as expected. I used tethering to connect to my laptop and i even could not refresh my email. I was failed to send my report timely.

For daily used is quite good. But sometimes the signal is gone at a certain area and need to wait few minutes to get the signal back.

Celcom is good with wide coverage and reasonable pricing as well.

No I am not the one configuring the VPN to make remote CCTV viewing works. It’s some other people.

I realised this when I was trying out the Digi infinite plan, intending to replace the old shitty streamyx.

I meant how do you configure to monitor CCTV or any stuff that needs portforwarding without VPN on digi infinity
I already am using VPN which is why I'm curious how you do it without one

I'm using webe for almost 1 year. Webe keep limiting every usage and PROBLEMATIC anywhere.

1) The average speed is around 1.5mbps. Sometimes, you can't even watch youtube.
2) Sometimes no signal.
3) automatic changes to HSPA+ even 4G is available.
4) Maximum 1 hour phone call. On Dec 2017, Webe change to 30 minutes.
5) No coverage under the tunnel.
6) Worst payment system. Autopay will deduct 2 months bill.
7) No tethering.

Only 25 GB for one month + Weekend unlimited. Not enough. And also 12 months contract, a big NO.

Where did you get the idea that there is a 12-month contract?

I'm using celcom, tune talk and maxis... Used Digi previously under company plan...
My experience is as per below... and my usage on phone calls and data is more than heavy...
My working days, my calls average around 1.5 hrs...
Youtube streaming or slight gaming... Also at moderate usage...

Maxis is best... Line stable, data connection more stable...
Data speed also good when I'm moving around...
Coverage is only second to celcom...

Celcom is good in coverage, line stable, Speed is quite ok...
Unstable data frustrates me only... It will stop the loading for a while then when you refresh again it will be ok...

Digi is average in both line and data...

That's why you pay less... You will not realise it when you are not traveling intensively...
I understand some might jugde by where they stays..
For me when always moving around, average don't helps...

That's my experience in this 3 Telco... My x-company even swap back to maxis already after 1 year...
Wanted to try umobile but my friend told me same as Digi..
And they offers unlimited data at only RM78...
My bro and friends is happy with that because they mainly stay out in the city...
