Only 25 GB for one month + Weekend unlimited. Not enough. And also 12 months contract, a big NO.
*
Where did you get the idea that there is a 12-month contract?

terus mati/expired after 90 days

webe expecting you to keep using* the service, so it actually doesnt expire.

*using = make outgoing call, sms, data, reload, buy addon.

soyacincau.com wrote ..... "so the bare minimum to maintain your line is to either get the RM10 calls+sms pack or pay RM13 for the basic 1GB internet add-on every 3 months. That’s a minimum of RM40 per year if you need a basic mobile line just to receive calls."

For those ultra-low users like me who just want an emergency back-up number, it's not likely that we're going to spend regularly on add-ons. Probably will be making a call every 80-90 days to keep this alive, and then top-up when credit is low.

depends how you interpret this.

Contradictory info by TM. Well, I will not buy an add-on within 90 days but I will make a call. If that kills my number, so be it: it's not worth maintaining such an account. I can get cheaper data elsewhere.

Another thing I'll be trying to find out once I have the m@u SIM is whether Voicemail is on by default. I usually disable voicemail once I activate a new phone line.

I wish I could change the TMpoint collection address. Now I find I can't make it this week and that particular TMpoint doesn't open Saturdays.

I know about the no expiry. Just can't find the carry forward in the faq. Anyway thanks

Commonsense tells you that if something doesn't expire, there's nothing to carry forward.

I think the 90 days validity count from last usage or transaction.

Well, a 2-second phone call is technically "usage".

Yes, but they'll charge you on a 60 seconds block.

Still cheaper than paying RM13 for 1GB basic internet.

RM10 can get you 60mins voice and 60 SMS. Would it be possible to make 1 short call or send 1 SMS every 90 days to count as usage for 120 times? Potentially nearly 3 decades' worth of validity there...if TM is generous enough to allow this...

If you happened to be have the time to always remember to make the call before it terminated your line, why not? 😂

If u read the faq, it says U need to buy to extend the validity.
*
So? What you currently have does not need to be carried forward (to where?) so long as the account is active.

If the account is terminated then everything is forfeited of course.

What happen if you don't buy? They terminate your line. It's that simple. Seems like there's no question of "usage" here.

If you look at the previous statement

QUOTE
It’s simple. Just make any usage, reload or purchase any add-ons within 90 days from last purchased date.

it does say "any usage".

Whoever wrote the Unifi Mobile FAQ, their boss(es) never vetted the content properly. The occasional dodgy English and factually contradictory information makes me take all this with a pinch of salt.

We will find out the actual situation once we start using this plan.

I tried to register UnifiMobile for a friend who is not a TM customer but it stuck at the Personal Info Page where all data entered is flagged as "INVALID". Is this only for TM customers?
