I got a few problem here, hope people can teach me.

1st, The LogonUI thingy.
I downlaod the files with etc. etc. files,
What should I do to :
Change the background with the "Windows Vista Ultimate" Wording instead of "Windows XP"

2nd thing, is about VSE.
I downloaded the file, the only installer and install the program.
When I run the program, a message ask me to retrieve from the older version "2.1.1.1" something like that and I choose either yes or no, another error messages stated no such files founded.

Hope J-Slade can help me on the LogonUI thing and Start Menu thing.

hi,once i sucessfull change my xp theme to vista will it slow down my pc ?

with ur system spec as shown in ur sig, barely noticeable
unless u running on ancient rig like mine with 512MB RAM, then u will notice slight performance loss

Waa... Thanks Sifu J-Slade for all the tutorials on changing to vista look.. i'm using WB though.. version 6.0 and the style is Vista 2.4 by Jemaho i think .. i've noticed some bugs though on WB theme..

1. if you open MPC (media player classic) and you move it around on the desktop u will notice all the skin flickers
2. if you are using the Visual Tool Tips the pop-up balloons couldn't properly pop-up at the tray
3. if you doing say like transferring some files, there will be animation bar right? i noticed that if we overlapped another window on the transfer window
the progress bar will not be accurate
4. The flower at the user's profile picture on the start menu is still visible even though i've put another picture on it..

Well that's all that i can remember right now. so are all these bugs normal? had any of you experiencing the same problem??

I had transform my xp to vista..problem is i lost my tools at the left side of a folder..eg. play all , view slideshow etc..any idea how to enabled it ??thx

I use msstyle, styler, winflip, vista RTM sidebar wz alky, vistart

quite happy now

really like the sidebar can download from vista gadget page, can install & use straight away

ram usage not that high around 37-40% only ... but then again my ram is 2.5G

Lol...2.5GB. So big. RAM usage low is very normal la.

last time thought of installing vista on mine since i got ori vista ultimate ... but then seems like still stability issues etc wz vista so i think after service pack 1 i will consider back .... that is why my ram is 2.5G

i think my vs is QueVista .... from deviantart

i download the vista transformation pack,
and install it..
everything goes fine...
till...
i login...
it cant even see my desktop
is like completely empty...
some error msg show up...
send/dont send msg..
cant use it...
