look at start>all programs>vista games
the one that you double click is something like installer, you can delete it

download which programme? i didn't saw any skin of vista for windowblinds

Haha, WinXP~Vista Guru , J-Slade Yeah, i did on my desktop from XP to Vista. But those several Sidebar recommended by Guru is not produced by Microsoft.


However, now i just wanna use Window Genuine Sidebar on my laptop that using OEM Genuine Window XP. However i cannot find where is the link to download from Microsoft Website. Anyone can guide me ?

I'm using the latest version of Visual Tooltip, but I keep getting the following error:

VisualToolTip.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This seems to happen if I click back and forth on the window buttons on the taskbar.

Has anyone else been having problems with this program and/or does anyone have a solution?

well, i'm using this Visual Task Tips, and never encountered any problem... FYI this visual's thumbnails shows real time, but too bad, it can't show video player...

Hmm, the advance start menu was buggy... Sad... If not it's nice.

Yes, I had it enabled on Windows start up. sniper69 offered a good alternative...


Thanks for the suggestion... I gave Visual Task Tips a try and it has been very stable so far! I think it may have even fixed a related problem that was probably caused by Visual Tooltip. It is not as fancy as Visual Tooltip and it doesn't offer options for customization, but it gets the job done with stability - PLUS:

- As you pointed out, the thumbnails are updated real time (unlike Visual Tooltip)!
- It provides thumbnails even for minimized windows (unlike Visual Tooltip)!
- Although (as you pointed out) it does not show running videos, neither does Visual Tooltip.

well, thanks... hey i found something interesting, you can even zoom in/zoom out by using mouse wheel... just point at any active taskbar, your thumbnail will either zoomed in/out depend on mouse wheel... cool

delete manually

you can either use VTP or other softwares that allow you to change the boot screen and login screen.

you can try read post #2 by J-Slade. some ideas on getting the boot screen and loginscreen was posted there.
