QUOTE(mattchin @ Mar 16 2007, 06:27 PM) hi bros.. i'm planning to get goodyear eagle f1.. any comment? my ride is myvi.. looking forward for town use n practical actually.. is it a good 1? o there r better out there.. tQ tQ For daily use, it's the best out there, esp suited for our rainy weather. There's really nothing else like it at that cost. Only thing you have to bear with is the noise. Aggressive threads will always generate a lot of noise. Currently I'm using them and I love them.

QUOTE(kev da man @ Mar 16 2007, 04:59 PM) TS - you sure XM1s are good ah? had 175/70/R13 before on saga - terrible in the wet, and on greasy roads, the tyres are skittish. Something is missing with the the Xm1's...i feel it on my saga1.5 as well....when it rains i just don't feel like pushing the car beyond 90...which is bad...considering the fact that i got em for 145 per tyre..... Hi, I'm using Continental ComfortContact-1 195/55/15, they're like RM170 each end of last year. I exchanged my stock Goodyear NCT5 185/55/15 for them after hearing a lot of owners complaint about noise and grip. I don't whack corners (what on earth for?) and I don't go fast on wet roads (max 80km/h). My priority is a quiet and comfortable ride, and I feel they deliver exactly that. Initially had wanted Michellin XM1 or MXV8 (heard a lot of compliments about their silence and comfort), but they're >RM200 each and the shop owner recommended CC1 for quietness (yes I checked the manufacturing date, they're new), so I took 'em.
Will I buy them again? Yes, but I would prefer to try out other tyres first. My next change would probably be Silverstone Kruizer NS700 (supposedly comfortable; cheap too), Silverstone Synergy M5 (supposedly less rolling resistance and will save fuel; cheap too), Michellin MXV8 (newer than XM1; expensive), or the Bridgestone GR80 (comfortable; no idea about price).

Does it seem like it will eject water directly at the undercarriage?

QUOTE(kev da man @ Mar 21 2007, 06:58 PM) saga 1.3 and 1.5 is 175/70/R13 Since he stated 145 per piece so I assume it's not a 13-incher. 14 incher is around 135 per piece so could it be 195/50/R15 instead?

QUOTE(zeist @ Mar 22 2007, 03:26 PM) Why so less people using Toyo tires? hard to find, wierd compound. if got proxes that are made in 165/55/R14 then i might try.
