we r searching for a vox to shout n scream with us(may be jam maybe twice a month(currently.. may be more frequent soon), at cheras (same side wif kfc opposite the cheras downtown) guess wat studio.. hehe.. nevermind if you r staying a bit far.. i'm from kuala kubu bharu and i still can come.. 3 of us are working and 1 is still studying.. so weekend or night jam is currently we do..

2. influences/musical preferences : personally i'm into ska & punk rawk for the last 5 years but my current band is playin any genre of music incuding Rock/Metal/Radio Hits/Retro/Vintage & 80's Glam Rocks, classic rock, Modern rock, , Malays Retro... Sounds like the Beatles, muse, SOD, lefhanded, greenday, metallica, a ramli, scorpion, search, kembara, deep purple, gNr, eric clapton, mCr, xpdc, innuendo n wat ever you called music... so we just played with passion and have fun

3. looking for: vocal or vocals.. anyone.. male.. female.. or even both!(nevermind if you r wif another band.. just join us.. huhu) and also keyboardist! (or may be you also can sing while playin keyboard.. waa its cool & wonderful!)

4. his/her influences/musical preferences: Anything.. as we could try to play it according your notes (& influenced too.. ) - we r planning to play at wedding ceremony very-very soon .. so any related & suitable song..retro,classic rock,love song n wedding song surely be shoutin.. but just come n join us... we believe in you..

5. your requirements:
- you have passion, voice & you want to sing(for sure la kn.. ) and for keybordist,its good if you have your own gear (if not, we r going to steal it somewhere :-p )

We are gettin serious into this band(serious hobbiest) and still completing our gear(amp - to perform in a wedding - for a start) dont get me wrong.. we r influenced a lots by metal, punk rawk, rock n others but we r still want to play at a wedding stage and want to play it well.. do you love/sing eric clapton - wonderful tonight? or maybe beatles - i wanna hold yor hand?? or even oh fatimah

hi guys! Just posting a bit bout myself in-advance bcoz...well here it is:

1. Instrument that I play:
I'm all into vocal as thats where my strength is. Been doing lots of solo performances, got tired and as you can see now I'm seeking bandmates. I can play the guitar but not quite confident of it.

2. Musical Preferences:
I'm into all kinds of music as long as I am able to sing it. But right now I'm kind of into J-Rock and the sorts. But really I don't mind at all if your preferences were different. Rock, Punk, Metal, Pop, hell even Irama Malaysia...whatever

3. I am looking for:
Bandmates of course! I was hoping to find bandmates whom in need of a vocalist.

4. His/Her influences/musical preferences:
Right now I'm covering quite a few songs by a famous J-Rock band, L'arc~en~ciel so I really would prefer bandmates whom are into J-Rock and the sort. But as what I have stated before, it is I whois looking for bandmates so by all means; as long as you guys love music, love to jam, participate in gigs/concert/competition, I am your man. Oh, and by the way I am a man, just to clarify...

5. Your requirements:
As long as you guys can jam and do it with style.

6. Other requirements:
Well there is one problem and that is my location. I am currently in Japan but will be back in Malaysia probably by the end of March 2008 so if any of you guys are searching for a vocalist before that...I'm sorry that I can't be of help. But I do hope to find a group of enthusiastic bandmates when I get back and I am willing to give full 1000% cooperation to the band in order to make it a success. And I am dead serious about this.

6) Add info: We're a Gelugor based hardrock band with original material, been gigging for the past year and aiming to push the band to national level. Planning to record a proper demo soon, but right now we're down to just 3 ppl so its a lil difficult to do gigs to support the EP and some of the songs I wrote require 2 guitars. It'd be great to have someone with stage experience and who can help me get the crowd going

must be fun fun fun, cool, patient, open-minded and friendly.

music requirements:
- listen to any kinda music and dun mind playing anything. but basically if u can do rock, it's just fine.

i'm a rhythm guitarist/ vocalist based in malacca (mmu student) & i have a drummer ! so basically lookin for a lead guitar player & bassist, if possible a vocalist too cause i prefer to do backup vocals ... my voice isn't all that good =)

we used to be a 3-piece playing pop punk like sum41, green day, blink 182 etc, but then our bassist graduated =( we're basically looking for some kakis to jam with la ... but if we can really gel well then we may get some gigs at uni events & such ... but those kinda gigs will be more towards chinese & cantorock stuff - think beyond & mayday ...

Hi all. I'm Matt, bassist for Council of One. Some quick info about us:
We're an extremely diverse band with each member having a completely different and unrelated musical background. Just for a quick rundown:
Well yeah, you can see it's pretty messy, right? The only band that's close to being a shared influence is GnR.

Anyways, this is what we're looking for:

1) looking for: Drummer

2) instrument: Drums, duh. If you can sing as well it would be an added bonus. And if you are a girl by some random chance, even better.

3) influences/preferences: Anything, as long as you're capable of composing stuff with us. Our band has issues with playing cover songs, because we can never agree what to cover, and if we do, we can never get them right. So we just write our own music, because that's probably easier.

4) location: PJ preferably. We constantly shift practice locations but it's always within PJ.

5) my requirements: Must be able to do tempo variations decently. Some of our songs change tempo midway, and more than once sometimes. Should be very sporadic and random behind the kit, and have quite a variety of beats.

6) Add info: It would help if you study in the Subang/Sunway zone, because that's where we all study at the moment. We also plan on starting the recording process in 2008, so a committed person is very much valued. We more or less just lost our 3rd or 4th drummer, can't remember how many we've gone through already.

nway we've thinkin of recruitin someone who really good in sound....
yah, thats right.. so called soundman/engineer la...
huhu.. bcoz we really bad in setting and blending those sound..
practically need it for studio and live performances..

its good if you have your own gear.. knowledge.. and whatsoever..
digital/analog/powered Mixers, amps, active/passive speakers,monitors.. *chewahh
but its ok if you dont have it for now.. but could get it in the future
as for us, we start with nothin .. keep learning and the gear is almost complete now
but the problem is still... where we want to put all this thing up together and hit it all night long and non stop..
+its good if you've a place to overcome this prob! hehe *wink*

so if you do have passion in playing with the art and the magic of sound.. dont waste it, come and join us!
