We're looking for any vocalist who's interested and hopefully lives nearby but if not, it's still okay. We all live in Subang.

We will be a 4-piece band when the vocalist joins and we play genres such as Blues, Funk, Pop, Alternative, Jazz.

Influences include, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer Trio, etc.

We do covers and also have a few songs of our own.

hi all, you children of damnation, im planning to setup my own band. currently in a band but it doesn seems to be working out for some certain reasons. so here's the deal,

im playing rhythm guitar and occasionally lead. i do play a part as well in vocals but not good enough for lead. so basically i need a dude with drums, double pedal would be better but not neccessarily, another that smooth the chicks with the bass, and another lead or backup guitarist who vocals as well as grinds hard w/ those 6 mother f**king strings.

influence? ok, im still pretty much stuck in the 90's grunge era. nirvana, pearl jam, soundgarden and legends like that. but im opening up to a lil modern stuff like, seether, thornley, radiohead(more of the old shits) alkaline trio, the ataris, chevelle, feeder and theory of a dead man etc.

OK, this is new to me. But I'm just going to be hoping for the best here.
I used to be in several bands, one that actually ended up with an EP that sold 500 copies LOL!!!! OK, anyway, I am self taught, I play bass and guitars. I listen to a lot of stuff, from Sabbath/Ozzy to the 80s glam metal, but I particularly am hooked on and idolize Pearl Jam/Soundgarden/AIC type. I write my own songs while playing covers too. OK, I have been "away" for a long time, got settled down with a family so I am now looking to reignite my love to play. I am in PJ area but anywhere in Slg or KL is fine. I sold all my 6 guitars/basses now left with 1 acoustic courtesy of my bro in law. But getting new instruments would not be a problem. I am waiting to see where this will take me....

i play lead self taught about 4-5months aprx . i can sweep four strings not that clean . i love gnr metallica trivium slipknot bon jovi .. i dont play punk .. i think i can shred but i always folo the scale line .. dun expect much ffrom im 13+ .

im in selangor ; have my own gear .
really nids a band for experience .. mayb if grow older can go on gigs my dream xD

i dont listen to search and wings, but if they do have a dvd with them both together i wouldnt mind buying.

i wouldnt mind trying some search, especially purnama.
but black rose where got use trem alot? ignore the solo first la...do their glam rock stuff first like cinta abadi or perdaya.

actually got dude... black rose infamous rock kangkang/kapak song 'penantian'... story has it the solo was actually done by zulkif of the band headwind... dunno whether that's true or not... check out the trem work on the solo for that one.... maybe he was trying to beat hillary ang's work in isabella...

hahahha... to think i was still in skolah rendah when all that happened...

FACT - blackrose with first singer bard (hes the one who co-wrote cinta abadi, simfoni, perdaya...you'll see him mentioned as 'bad' in the credits) has NEVER played penantian live before cos they hate the song...but they did use to cover some good old school Poison then
