QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 5 2017, 09:56 PM) Use the report button if the post is violating forum rules. Anyone has right to post be it it is positive or negative view. Sometimes, it takes both hand to clap, if forumers are happy to feed those troll post, then this is what you get in the topic. Trolls are happy when people are feeding them. Half true. U missed the word PROVOCATION

Journey to the locked.
I understand admin's thought on freedom of speech, however if Ice kacang keep provocating with wrong facts and cause the thread get lock, there won't be any discussion in the 1st place before we talk about freedom of speech. It's not difficult to aware ice is not encourage discussion at all.
I suggest ice kacang to open a thread call why u don't buy cyberjaya

CBJ owners/investors, grow some balls will ya. Do the negative vibes posted by select few bother you so much that your legs quiver each time they post? Do you really have to counter argue with your points? You're fueling the adrenaline rush they get when they see you get agitated easily.
If you don't like what they say, ignore it. It's not like they're criticizing your mama, your spouse, your cat or your pet gold fish. Their motives for doing so is already pathetic, it's even more so when you feel the need to reply to correct their perception.
This a forum for everyone. Be mature and ignore trolls. I always just smile reading their comments. But it turns me off when I see your replies to trolls. Don't you know by now nothing you say is going to turn them around?
The only person you need to convince is yourself, no one else. Unless of course they want to subsidize your purchase.

Doesn't matter to me - Both are not in my F&B list. O Brien is too expensive and over rated. Dr. Cafe - nothing special and a bit pricey in fact. I don't go to both too. Hope that some other better f&b can take over. many of the f&b in shaftsbury don't open on Sunday. Even new lewisgene at cybersquare not open on Sunday. Tot can chill but end up go to Old town area.

Maybe cyberjaya can do something to encourage more startup for F&B/boutique retail as well, not rely on those big brand/franchise. Cycling/Wheeler friendly cafe is yet to see in this cycling friendly town

QUOTE(Soros007 @ Apr 6 2017, 10:39 AM) Shaftbury not doing well? I always struggle to find a frontage parking in front of shoplots. Those parking are free bay....some are reserved....so always fully occupaid One of the best feature in shaftsbury is there is a linked bridge in each floor, however the parking charges and only touch and go accepted pull me off to visit Kungfu for example... and I can find alternative option in glomac... they should offer at least 2 hour free parking.

QUOTE(Soros007 @ Apr 6 2017, 10:39 AM) Shaftbury not doing well? I always struggle to find a frontage parking in front of shoplots. They are mostly rented to tenants, not customers. Only selected few lots are reserved for customers. It's a shame that parking is charged, otherwise Shaftsbury has always looked crowded during lunch hour and evenings. Anyway, my Verdi unit is currently undergoing renovation for own stay in the next 2 months or so. Hopefully Tamarind Sq would do well which is just a stone's throw away. Now's the time to consider folding bicycles for my wife & I

Getting Started

|
QUOTE(Soros007 @ Apr 3 2017, 07:45 AM) I don't agree with this statement. Personally live in Cyberjaya for few years alr and every time visiting D Pulze can see locals, expat westerners and only minority of middle eastern. Are you sure? Just went during last weekend. Very few Chinese. All restaurants full with others except Chinese. Feel weird / uncomfortable when I am only the Chinese in the restaurant. Haha

QUOTE(Zres @ Apr 6 2017, 10:23 AM) Shaftsbury is not doing well, they should offer free parking to boost the traffic.... Whether or not parking should be charged, would depend on the optimization and the strategy. If it's always full, especially occupied by long term users (such as the employees who work there or residents of the units above), then ideally, the parking should be charged. At best, can implement a 2 hour free parking rule, so that genuine guest/customers can park for free. The above applies to all commercial/serviced apartments, not just Shaftsbury. Take Paragon for example, parking is free and not charged, thus, always occupied by long term users. Suspect it is the residents upstairs and in the end, it is the business lots below that suffer (genuine customers that come have no parking).

TROLL definition is "a mythical, cave-dwelling being depicted in folklore as either a giant or a dwarf, typically having a very ugly appearance." Horrors!!!

But my definition of TROLL besides the usual definition is people who are neglected of attention or prominence at a young age will often behave like this when they get older. They need "feeding" as what you forum users wrote are actually correct. So as advised by the majority - just ignore them. And that there can be others who post positive or negative remarks here. We just 'sieve' the noise from the postings lah.
