Yes, that's true but not every online transaction site (since we use YOLO mostly for online) accepts AmEx. I will maximize my AmEx every month. Well, I tried to complete all on 1st day of the month, if that still doesn't guarantee cash back, I will not use anymore for online transactions cash back. |

QUOTE(revolution @ Feb 12 2018, 01:59 PM) guys, want to ask. Financial charges on all transactions in that statement, which is RM1000. Calculated from beginning of statement cycle and not from payment due date. That's my experience from other banks, but I guess would be the similar for UOB. Bottom line, pay up all statement balances in time.if lets say i have Rm1000 in my statement and i only pay rm50 minimum payment. Will my RM950 get charge finance charges or interest rate? thanks for the clarification. |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Feb 12 2018, 09:35 PM) If I'm not wrong, PTPTN portal is not eligible for cash back. As per TnCSo it does not count for the swipe how many times. The following transactions shall not be included in the Total Number of Transactions: a) Balance Transfer; b) Cash Advance; c) Flexi-Credit Plans; d) Easi-Payment Plan purchases; e) Refunded, disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent retail transactions; f) Top-up transactions; g) Payment of annual card membership fees, interest payments, late payment fees, charges for cash withdrawals, goods and services tax and any other form of service / miscellaneous fees using the Card; and h) Such other transactions as UOBM may determine from time to time. So PTPTN is in the eligible swipe for total transaction, just no cash back only. |

This post has been edited by cybpsych: Feb 13 2018, 10:02 AMcashback pool is based on FCFS. what is the definition of FCFS then? 1) earliest to achieve 1st swipe? meaning the 16th swipe can be last day of the month? then all your transactions eligible to full cashback? 2) earliest to achieve 16th swipe? meaning all 16 swipes must be completed as early as possible to activate cb? 2a) if earliest to achieve 16th swipe (and activated cb), what will happen to later transactions? are those eligible for cb? 2b) does the 16th swipe is tracked by transaction or posting date? meaning, if you you swipe on 1st of the month, but somehow one merchant posted your 16th swipe very late, e.g. mid-late of the month, what will happen? is the cashback activated? 3) earliest to achieve 8th swipe first, but later can "upgrade" the cb tier with 16th swipe later? |
