JUst called the CS and cancelled the credit shield.

Annual fees will be charged on my card starting Sept1. CS guy asked me to call in the next day to request to waive it.

However, not all application will be successful depending on management approval.

I was wondering if any of you faced any rejection on your CS waiver request?

I just faced experience of not able waive UOB One Plat, so I just cancelled it.

Just curious.. what kind of info would the management see to determine whether you are eligible for the waiver?

IMHO Annual amount swiped or usage is the key determinant

You can try to request. No harm though.
If cannot, U just decide either pay for it or cancel it. (must be zero outstanding before proceed cancellation)

Is it uobpayonline can pay for DBKL summons?

It is under bank discretion.
Just try your luck by giving them a call.

Little confuse here, so we call bank request to have AF waived when it appear on statement? but what if bank refuse n i wanna cancel it, do i still need to pay AF? Or just d outstanding amount tat minus AF of last statement? Thx

To be safe, once AF appears in the statement, don't charge anything to the card anymore.
Request for AF waiver, if refused by the bank. Ask CS to cancel the card on the spot of the call. You no need to pay for the AF.
For UOB, normally they will put your card in the on-hold pool first. One or two days later, the retention team may call you back to offer AF waiver.
The CS and the retention team are two separate team.

the CB was in on 7Aug.

Annual Fee charged on 1Aug, request cancellation next day received sms declined. Request for cancellation, CS said the other department will call to confirm cancellation, so far didn't received any calls. Today called again mentioned already being cancelled, but the AF amount is still in my unbilled transaction. CS team will raise the issue... Hopefully everything's fine

What are you hoping for? Getting AF waived? Or having the card cancelled w/o need to pay for AF?

No need, auto enroll. And think this is campaign by VISA, not UOB itself, cuz I receive other bank SMS too for same campaign.
