thanks for answering all my question above.
for no.5 it's possible i do it as parking mode which i connect the power source to battery?
*
The dashcam will be recording non-stop if connected to the battery. It won't be parking mode. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Also, it won't have any voltage monitoring and your car battery will be suck dry by the dashcam.

How do we remove the date and time stamp?
*
No option to do that.

You'll need it if used as evidence for a police report.

Too bad, I'm returning my unit and go back to the Yi dash cam. Sometimes, I want to make movies and use dash cam footage. It looks bad with the logo, date, and time stamped on it.
*
Don't remember yi dashcam can remove date and time. Logo I know can.

what is the recommended storage capacity sd card should i get for this dashcam?
*
For front only dashcam, minimum I would go is 32GB. 64Gb would be ideal.

Also don't get Sandisk Ultra cards as they will die when used in dashcam or IP cams in less than a year.

Evo and Evo+ is an old version. Look for the latest Evo Plus instead.

I also got that problem too. Sometimes event not recorded. What is the solution? I am using SanDisk Ultra 32GB Class 10 MicroSD HC I.
*
It is highly recommended not to use Sandisk Ultra in dashcam or ip cams. The card will die in less than a year due to too much writing into the NAND chip.

Can you suggest any compatible SD card?
*
Samsung Evo Plus is good and value for money. FYI - Evo and Evo+ is an older version.

Another to look at is those with High Endurance from Sandisk, Transcend, etc but not cheap.

I just recheck and found out it is a Samsung Evo Plus 32gb.

At this moment I've already manually reformat it about 3-4 times since started using about few months ago.
*
Then the next question whether is it real or fake Evo Plus.

Could you do an h2testw test to check?

*
Because that's Xiaoyi Yi dashcam and this is Xiaomi Mijia dashcam. 2 different brands like Puma and Addidas.

Thought Samsung voids the warranty if card is used in dashcam. Worth to use?
*
Yes, all manufacturers will void the warranty when used in dashcam or ipcam.

Best to get those cards with endurance in its name. But the price is higher.

Got it thanks. For Endurance type, any 'value-for-money' recommendation?
*
Samsung Evo Plus is the budget at the moment. Also heard the Sandisk Ultra A1 is good as not so lousy like the Sandisk Ultra.

Hi guys a newbie here i have a mijia dash cam running on the latest version (ENG) on a sandisk Ultra 32gb and i notice the date/time on my dash cam keeps resetting after every 2 days of driving. Is this a bug or am i the only one?
